She is the absolute worst professor I have ever had. She straight up said in the syllabus to not email her and to "figure it out on your own." What professor does that, especially with online classes that she gives no rubric to follow? Also, she is very rude when getting back to you. Do not take her she is not worth it.

DO NOT TAKE HER! Although, she is an easy grader, she makes you jump through unnecessary hoops to grade. This is from a perspective of someone who lives an hour away; she will not hold office hours because it's unfair to students who do not live nearby, but in turn expects a hard copy paper to her mailbox. She refused to print out papers from D2L.

This class is an easy A; however, she makes you work for it. I'd recommend turning projects into the early dropbox for feedback. Her feedback and instructions are not very clear, plus she will not hold office hours for online students. Basically, look at her project examples and you will pass.

Sooo when i started the class I HATE HATE HATED it. Zoa is very rude, blunt, & sometimes insulting but she comes full circle and you see why she singles people out or challenges people. Let the class be effective for you& don't fight her (she will just tell you to drop the class if you can't handle it). she has method to her madness. learn from it

Overall I enjoyed it. My sibling took the same course, HATED IT. I apparently got on her good side. Projects can take some time and effort, but thats all you have to do to get an A in the class. Little to no work otherwise. Don't act lazy and don't act like you don't care. Come to class, pay attention, and put a little effort into projects.

The class is interesting and fun. At first it doesn't seem very easy but once you get going you'll realize it is as long as you do what's required, easy A. Based on 3 projects and 5 journals. She is a bit odd an and some days you'll hate her and others you'll love her but I do recommend this class because its fun and you learn a lot.

She'll either love or hate you. Follow guide lines and have good grammar and you're fine. Internship assignments were easy, but effective. I prefer online courses, BUT if online or in-class are both offered, take in-class. She's real particular and online instructions can be tough to follow, but she explains them well in-class.

I really loved this class and got a lot out of it. The professor goes out of her way to make the class seem difficult so they will drop the class if they are not serious about it, which really helped the people who hung on become very close. I have never had a class where I liked everyone and got to know everyone personally. Take this class.

She prides herself on being an outspoken feminist. However, she doesn't seem to recognize or care when she crosses the line into verbal abuse. She doesn't want to be bothered outside of class. If you take her face-to-face, you may love her or hate her, but her stories will stick with you.

Easy class online! I had her for 225 as well (online). 225 was MUCH harder but she gives you crystal-clear expectations! Her tests are hard but there was a ton of extra credit. I bombed the final and still got an A in the course! I liked her online courses!!

This professor is a man hater all the way. Zoa will belittle any female for any type of weakness she may have. If however, you make it on her "good" side. There is a high probability that you will indeed make it through the semester. Good Luck if you love challenges

The class was very cool. In retrospect, it was easy, but it makes you use skills that you don't often use so it seems hard at the time. Take it seriously, let her know that you take it seriously or she will eat you alive. She can sense weakness (especially girls) and goes out of her way to challenge you if you show any.

Worst prof I have ever had. The tests were ridiculous--even with two attempts. Definitely helpful to do the extra credit, but you HAVE to write what she wants to hear, not what you actually think. Our class average for the tests was failing EVERY time. She was always late to class and was disrespectful if you did not agree with her

This was an online course. The syllabus is clear and every expectation is spelled out. There was no interaction with the professor unless you had questions. The tests are open book but timed and very hard. You MUST read the chapters. There are sample tests and 2 tries for each exam so there is no excuse to not do well.

If you are atleast a semi-responsible student, take her class. I took an online course with her. Her syllabus is crystal clear with expectations, her availability and the schedule of when things will be due. She has extra credit opportunities that can easily keep you at an A or high B. Yes the tests are hard but thats why she allows two attempts.

If you get on her good side, you'll be just fine; if not....you're in for a rough time. She has a lot of opinions and it is best to just listen and learn in order to get a good grade. If you do the work and put in some time, you'll be just fine. Stick the course out; at first, it seems very tough, but it ends up being an easy A.

the textbook was ok and it was pretty much a self teach class (online). you can get a good grade if you try hard. there are 6 tests (100 pionts each) and extra credit of up to 100 points:)
