Not one of my favorite professors, he never puts grades up until the end of the semester so you are not sure about what your grade is. His lectures tend to be a little scattered and class is very boring. It was very hard for me to pull off a B in that class, and I worked extremely hard.

He is not a technology person so you will not know your grade unless you calculate yourself. He is passionate about theater. Not a hard class if you go and pay attention. It can get boring. He hates when people are on their phones. He grades fairly easy. Not a bad class.

I took this class expecting it to be an easy A. This ended up being one of my most difficult classes. I sat in the front everyday and took notes. He was very scattered and his tests were always ridiculous. Ended up getting a B in the class but I worked hard for that grade.

He will like you if you go to class and aren't sleeping or on your phone. you can literally fail almost everything other than the project and critique paper and still get an A and do the extra credit both of them. Visit office hours with questions and he'll see your trying and reward.

Very, Very hard grader! I sit at the front and don't be on my phone and I still have failed every test that he has ever given. He can say pretty racial stuff too. He's an okay person, but I advise you to not take this class if you care about your GPA.

I would never take Professor Yeong again. He took off major points for several of my assignments for little things. When I went to his office hours to understand the reasoning he told me he was too busy. Over all he made the class more difficult than what it needed to be, and he cared more about making costumes than instructing.

He basically lectures about anything he wants throughout the semester with no clear outline, notes are very hard to write in his class because his information is all over the place. The group project at the end was insane and the whole class basically failed. This was common for the test and quizzes too. I recommend finding taking professor's class

Class was so boring! He was very scattered when he lectured. You have to read a lot for homework, but the quizzes on them are really easy. The test overall werent too bad but still confusing. The group project was the hardest project i have ever done and everyone failed. He holds you up to high standards and do not use your phone in class

I would not recommend him to any student. He takes this class very seriously and it was my most difficult class of the semester. Quizzes and tests were very hard, and his lectures were very scattered. The papers were about the only thing I did well on, I failed a majority of the quizzes and always payed attention in class and took notes.

He's interesting, and his lectures are great! The tests were extremely difficult (to me and at least several of my classmates). My class also had to participate in a group project in which we had to come up with ideas of how to produce a play, which was really interesting (if stressful). Good, interesting teacher.

I personally thought that I would have a C in this class but his grading scale is very wide ranged, so I managed to make a B. You should definitely make sure you study for this class because the pop quizzes are no joke. The critique papers are easy if you follow the template for them that's in the book.

Very funny guy. He makes an extremely boring class enjoyable. He writes all his notes on the board, which is the basis of his quizzes. His mid-term was pretty difficult. Slow grader, and has his favorites. But never the less, a good guy to take

He is a very interesting man with a lot of passion for the theatre. Saying that his class is extremely difficult. He is all over the place when he lectures. He writes things on the board and if you take good notes you will be ok on the quizzes. However the final was ridiculous!!!Some of the material I had never seen before. He is very scattered.

Very sarcastic. Rude at times. Hard grader. Swears a lot. Attempted to give everyone in the class a zero one day for a quiz because of one student's disrespect, but latter gave everyone their deserved grade. I would not recommend him to others.

He is mildly neurotic. He got angry when one person was talking, took it out on the entire class by giving everyone a 0 for that day's quiz, and justified it with some crap about us being a "team." He does pick favorites and doesn't care about the rest of the class. He acts like he doesn't even like teaching; I don't know why he does it.

I've had Alan for, what, 3 classes now? Take it from me, just know going in that he's tough on you because he expects good quality, and he'll push you and mock you if you don't care. Put in the effort. Especially in Theatre Apprec. Just do the requirements and share your opinion and you'll never have a problem with him. He can teach you so much.
