Comment:

Professor Schaefer was pretty good professor and has real experience with selling so he told us some of his stories. There are three tests (including a non comprehensive final) and a sales presentation. Sometimes he does attendance grades so it's good to go to every class. Overall, I really enjoyed this class with this professor.

Comment:

This guy is Michael Scott. He is extremely awkward and borderline offensive sometimes but it's like a train wreck that you can't stop watching. The material is common sense. The only annoying thing is that attendance is for a grade so even though the lectures are pointless you still have to go listen.

Pretty easy class, common sense stuff. He is definitely a goofy guy, kind of entertaining. There is a selling project at end of semester. Pretty easy to get a good grade, just show up to class bc he does take 3pts attendance every time.

Great class! Awesome teacher. No book, just slides. Had him for 352 too. gives 3 pt assignments at a few classes. easy tests. This class has two sales pitch projects throughout the semester, which is the only real world experience I have yet to recieve in college. Everything you learn in this class is beneficial to your daily life and future!

I also took 352 with him. He is easy, but got on my nerves a lot. He's scatterbrained, gives a million examples, and thinks he's funny (he's not). He is really helpful tho, and the projects he had us do in class were helpful and applicable, good for portfolio. Tests were easy. No book for 352 and u dont use the book much for 354

Very entertaining, friendly, funny, dedicated, understands the college lifestyle and is devoted to students! Probably my favorite teacher thus far and I'm a senior. :)

Nice, helpful, funny guy. Lectures can be boring but he tries to make it interesting, tells a lot of stories to help you remember. A little spacey but entertaining. Go to class, he does 3 pt assignments that really add up! Get to know him, he's helpful and knows what he's talking about.

This guy knows his stuff. Plenty of real-life examples he personally went through to relate to the material. Pretty funny guy too. Textbook not required, but attendance is; you need to attend every lecture to get the notes. Tests aren't too bad, selling project was fun. Recommended!

I highly reccommended Dr. Schaeffer. He is a really laid back, yet still interesting teacher. We always watch a lot of commercials which makes class a little more entertaining. Print off his notes and you'll do fine on the tests.

Not bad, but sometimes he is pretty boring... his tests are not hard, but he asks details, so read all your notes! Attendance is not mandatory, but every single class there are group discussions that give you 3 extra points every time.

I've had Schaefer for several classes. He's very nice, and pretty easy. Go to class so you can get the notes, and the tests will be a breeze. The project in this class was a joke. In a good way. Really easy and laid back. Tests are like 75% of your grade though, so make sure you get the notes from someone if you miss. Would def recommend him!

Overall great class - he really loves selling, did it for a long time himself, so there's plenty of real-world examples. I went in b/c I needed the credits and ended up really glad I chose his class: I learned a lot about selling and some of the bad stigma about sales people are gone. Final sales presentation was quite a bit of fun, too.

The class is interesting - lots of talk about what could be, although there was a lot of review of the last few decades, too. He seems a bit spacy, almost distracted at times. Three tests, three short abstracts & a group presentation (oral only) - and you 'discussion questions' each lesson for 5 quick points. Overall not too bad.

Hes a very relaxed teacher that seemed goofy to me, he kind of goes with the flow. Loves to talk about golf, his class is very straightforward with powerpoint slides, tests are mostly off that (although I found it helpful to read over the chapters in the book before tests) Text was optional for my sem, easy class with a few simple assignments.

Easy class. He's very helpful and laidback. Not a lot of homework. Couple of easy point presentations. Tests are not difficult, they're pretty common sense. I would definitely recommend him.

a great teacher. Funny guy definitely worth taking one of his classes if you get a chance. A lot of group work, but all 354 sections have that, and he gives little three point assignments that are just extra points no work needed.
