Comment:

Very motivating teacher who sincerely wants you to learn the language. Hw and projects are all manageable and she treat students like adults. Never had her before but had 2 of her classes the same semester. Which I could take more, I learned more than any other class.

Nice lady but she grades awful. She prefer Americans in top of native speakers. Supposed to be compositions to write, instead you have to memorize concepts and do presentations. Only one paper until now. Sorry but I won't recommend her. Take another teacher if you can.

She's very helpful, and if you do everything that you're expected to do you will be fine. Study for her tests, as there's a lot of information being tested. Participate! She will notice if you don't!

She has a good lady, but she grades hard and not even partial credit. She has her favorites,if you are not native speaker, you will get in trouble. She is unorganized, changed dates often, jumping chapters. If you don't need her, DONT TAKE HER.

Great instructor! Her class is really challenging but as long as you make an effort to learn, she'll help you out a lot. The only thing is that she is not prone to curving grades so watch out for that. But other than that, she's great!

Profesora is SO nice, I love her. But the class does contain a lot of assignments: Essays, different quizzes, homework, a presentation, and it's expected to read a chapter every week. I barely got a B when I've always received A's in Spanish, but she keeps it light and interesting so if your're wiling to do the work it's a good class to take =)

Professor Negy was very helpful the whole semester. If you didn't understand something, she was always willing to help! She will not tolerate disrespect, and if you don't care very much about her class, she won't care very much about you. So if you don't care about her class, don't show it to her!! Otherwise, you'll be fine in her class.

She is a great teacher. She really cares about whether or not you do well in your class and is super clear about everything and is welcome to questions. Homework was easy, but you still learned from it. One major project/presentation, and 4 quizzes. Nothing was super hard, but not super easy either, which is good because you learn a lot.

I wrote a random class section cause i forgot the number. I am taking Spanish Intermediate 2 and she is the worse spanish teacher i have ever had. She is completely unorganized, changes dates on projects and tests and has absolutely no idea what the final project is about less than a week before it is due, avoid at all costs

Due dates changed often. Im a non-native speaker and definitely felt like the native speakers had preferential treatment. Cuaderno was barely used, never bought it. She grades hard, but it will help improve your writing. Negy helps out during office hours if needed. You may die of bordeom but you definitely wont fail! Showing up is half the battle.

Dr Negy, did alright in this class. It's composition but we hardly wrote, instead we spent most of our time doing presentations on the chapter! It isn't too hard but she's picky when it comes to testing. If you don't need to take this class, then dont.

Dr. Negy is not a good professor, she has favorites. If you aren't a native speaker, she's going to give you trouble. She was unprepared for this class and we hardly used our books. She's extremely disorganized and keeps pushing projects until there isn't any time left. Don't take her classes!!

I absolutely love her!! Best teacher I've had yet! She is a great teacher and will go out of her way to help. Very good at explaining things. She was super nice and funny. Made the class interesting and she made me want to come and learn! You will get an "A" as long as you give it effort.

She is an average teacher kind of boring but her class is not hard at all. She is very flexible meaning she would take late work and helps if asked! She uses the book a lot and gives little quizzes so make sure you read. Go to class, participate, do your HW and an A shouldnt be hard to get. If you are native you might find it super slow like I did.
