Comment:

A very nice lady who is passionate about the topic. However, very inefficient with time, tends to ramble on and on as well as go off on tangents. Has very cool shoes but is a bit coo-coo. Tests are semi difficult and all MC with a few T/F.

Ridiculous class. The entire class is based on one paper, the guidelines for which no one is really clear about. Will take off a lot of points for ridiculous things. Attendance is mandatory. Most people do well if you follow directions but she never actually teaches the material. Rambles the entire class about nothing. You'll never be so confused.

Whenever one of my current professors says "think back to when you learned this in QM263", I rack my brain for a second and then remember that I had Amy Doering, aka a professor who is nice and somewhat easy, but a complete waste of your time and tuition $.

She's not really too bad. The tests were pretty easy if you did the homework and studied the material. She likes to get all excited and go off on tangents but she lets you know what you need to go to get an A on the tests. There were days when I felt like she kept saying the same things over and over but not a bad class and fairly easy.

The only way I can think of to describe her is to imagine your hyperactive kindergarden teacher trying to teach you upper level statistics. She knows her stuff but she goes all over the place and in an hour 15 minute class I'd say she teaches only 15 minutes of material, and I use the term "teaches" loosely. If you want to learn, don't take her.

Her class was somewhat easy... I learned nothing from the class and ended up with a B. She is the worst teacher I have ever had. If you take this class, plan on teaching the material to yourself. Going to class just makes matters worse. Do NOT take her!

I tried to be fair on the rating. If you like to teach yourself from a textbook, then take a test that slightly reflects the material you just read, take her. I personally thought the was the WORST teacher I have had from preschool till my senior year in college. Absolutely terrible at lecturing.

This teacher is the worst I've ever had. She is all over the place when she teaches, shifting from one thought to another and she never makes sense. I would not recommend her to anyone!

She is SUCH a sweetheart. QM sucks in general but she is willing to work with you as well as meet with you to help you out. I would take her again in a heartbeat. She really cares about her students.

Attending class actually makes it worse. She's terrible, my only advice is, don't take her, especially if you'd like to learn anything, or keep the things you know from 262. Horrible teacher, one of the worst I've ever had.

She is the biggest space cadet ever to live. She is super easy but don't take her if you want to learn anything. If you take her for 262 take her for 263 or you'll be completely lost. I wouldn't take her again just cause I didn't learn anything.

Shes really friendly but not a very good teacher, pretty easy class, tests are mulitple choice, and lets you turn in homework as late as you want. Stay away from her if you actually want to get something out of a quantitative methods class

She's really not good at explaining the concepts in class, but she is such a nice woman. If you ever have any questions she encourages you to come to her office hour. The tests were straightforward. I felt going to class was a waste because of the way she conducted it, but at least the tests were easy.

I received a good grade in this class and I still think this teacher might possibly be the worst I have ever had. She is simply a complete moron when it comes to presenting herself in front of others. I have never felt so ripped off as a student,and would have been better off not attending her brain draining class.
