Dr. Miller is amazing. One of the best online classes I've had. She is extremely clear so it's hard to be lost or confused. Keep up with your weekly discussions and quizzes and you'll be fine and prepared for test. Her lectures are also super helpful. I spent maybe 3-4 hours/week and made an A. Take her without hesitation!

I enjoyed this class, very interesting subject. She makes it clear when the deadlines are and how to study. Do the readings and all the discussion posts and you will do well.

Comment:

While I learned a lot in the class, I was disappointed in the participation of the professor. At the beginning of the semester she was engaging, and let me know why each grade was given for assignments. By the end I didn't even know if she was still there, no comments, didn't answer emails. Got my grade, but did not enjoy a ghost for a professor.

Comment:

Dr. Miller is very good for Psychology. This was my 2nd time taking Intro to Psych again, but she made things clear and easy. Her grading is very clear on what she wants. In order to pass, you must make the deadlines. For her online class, she provides a free textbook, and recorded lectures. She is very helpful overall.

Despite the difficulty of the course, I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Dr. Miller is a very interesting character. There were several group assignments for which we received individual and group grades. The lectures were great and she always encouraged participation without embarrassing you. She is amazing.

Professor Miller is a tough grader. I'm currently taking her intro to psychology class online and she takes points off for almost everything. Be prepared for her test, you MUST read in order to pass. I emailed her about one of my grades and I got a response within a few hours, so that's a plus. Also, the class book was online!

This was the best online class I have had. Dr. Miller posts her recordings from her actual class along with power points and study material. She really wants you to pass. Also, once you get into the routine it is very easy.

Dr. Miller is a very sweet lady. I took her online class during the summer and it took little time out of my day. There's weekly discussions and quizzes. 3 test, the last test is a final but it isn't cummulative. The class is completely online so everything is open note. I recommend renting the book off Chegg, it comes in handy when taking the test

Took 2103&3110 w/her. Gives lots of xtra credit,doesn't like tardiness, answers emails in a timely manner. U MUST READ the book! Test r not easy. Got A's in both classes and I read alot! Test are m/c-essay in 3110, m/c in 2103. In 2103 (summer)class met 2x for test only,Test 2 taken online & all Test r application. Don't accept late work. Nice lady

She's really nice and responds quickly to emails if you need help. She tries to make herself availiable to anyone who may have questions. Her tests aren't easy but if you read and do the self-tests you should never fail. The homeworks are really easy though.

she acts like everyone is going to major in psych. attendance is part of your grade and there are weekly online homeworks assignments. her test are very tough and are nothing like anything she teaches, but the book is very helpful for the test.

Comment:

Teacher is well knowledgable, but too much material is expected to retain along with that stupid axx PsycXL program, that half the time of this Fall 06 semester didn't work properly. Next time the material should be chosen properly with enough time to check for system problems. I wouldn't advise taking this class is it is not needed.
