Comment:

Dr. Raymond is a great professor. His lectures can be a lot at times but he is super funny and always finds ways to keep the class focused. The course itself was pretty difficult but if you get extra help and attend workshops you will do well, and will also receive extra credit.

Comment:

Professor Raymond is great. Teaches the material in a clear way while adding in real life, funny examples. He is willing to spend as much time as needed with you during office hours and is very helpful. Definitely keep up with the class notes, assigned problems, and workshops and you will do well on the problem sets and tests.

Comment:

After earning an "A" in Macroeconomics, I took Micro with this guy, and he was TERRIBLE at teaching. I received a poor grade on the mid-term and asked him what steps I could take to improve and was told, "I don't know. Withdraw?" Nice. I did withdraw and repeated the class with another professor and got an A.

This teacher may be funny at times, but he is a very tough grader. His problem sets and tests are very difficult compared to the in class problems and homework. He only has one two hour window per week for office hours so if you have class during that you wont be able to get extra credit. I would suggest not taking him due to the difficult class

Comment:

Professor Raymond is a very intelligent man. He's great to converse with, but finding the time is difficult. Reading through his reviews, he does tend to digress a bit during classes, but at times, it's somewhat necessary to regain class focus. Relatively in depth lectures, but textbook reading helps. Easy A if you do assigned problems&go to class.

Dr. Raymond is an amazing professor. He is super humorous and supportive. There's no essay in this class. Make sure to figure out the practice questions, then you will be fine with the problem sets and exams.

He's a nice, understanding guy, but you need to do the reading. He does less explaining and more just walks through the homework. He doesn't explain WHY things are true, kind of just shows you things that are true. There is a lacking on the explanation, but it can be found in the book.
