Since the link to course evaluations that he gave us was broke and he didnt fix it, Ill voice my frustrations here. He is very arrogant and you might as well not even ask him any questions because he will just demean you and make it known hes smarter than you. Does a terrible job of explaining material and doesnt care if youre struggling. AVOID

This has got to be the worst class I have ever taken. This professors stumbles over his words , mumbles and plainly does not clearly teach an already hard subject well. A majority of the term is just spent helping each other out, because everyone is equally as confused. I CANNOT stress this enough do not take this class if its not needed!

I cannot stress this enough when I say avoid this class at all costs. An absolute nightmare of a teacher. The dullest of lectures with his very dry and unentertaining voice makes it very hard to follow. Since COVID-19 hit also, the class has been even more difficult. Simio is very difficult to understand and thefinal project will leave headaches.

This class is horrible. Operations analytics is a difficult subject but it is ten times worth with a professor who does an awful job teaching the material. You will be confused all the time. There have been a significant number of complaints made in the past and nothing has been done. Make friends with people in class and help each other.

Guys. When I say this class is set up like a GRADUATE level course, I am NOT KIDDING. This is a mandatory class for Bus. Admin majors and is the only prof offered. My advisor said that there were MULTIPLE complaints about him and the class MAKES NO SENSE. He is most confusing prof I have ever had. If this is an optional class for you, DO NOT TAKE!!

This is actually the worst class I have taken in my entire life. Askar is a horrible teacher and makes learning the material as difficult and confusing as possible. He also will not help you or answer questions on the homework. It is honestly laughable how bad of a professor this guy is, AVOID THIS CLASS AT ALL COSTS

literally the worst teacher I've ever had. His homework goes into so much detail that he does not teach you in class. I would rather get his by bus than go to his lectures. avoid avoid avoid

One of the most confusing classes I have ever taken and I am someone who usually applies himself in class, so this is saying a lot. If you like a class that continues on to other chapter material before the original chapter is even fully comprehended this is the class for you. This class is excel heavy, and not very explained well. AVOID IF YOU CAN

Attendance is part of your grade, easiest part of the class. The class is almost entirely lecture-based, with a powerpoint that is talked about at the beginning and then examples that relate to the homework. This class is extremely difficult, and most of the class was lost. He is difficult to understand at times and the program simio is difficult.

Online summer course, fairly easy to get through. Many examples are online to assist. Two tests per section for 8 total. One is very much math oriented and the other is comprehension. Essentially you can get 100% on the comprehension and 60% on the math and still pass easy if you do the homework which he gives many examples on.

Choudhury doesn't deserve the bad rap he's gotten. The class doesn't require much work or studying. Go to class, take notes, and use the notes for the online exams. He has his class set up so it's impossible to fail the exams if you go to class, take solid notes, and practice when he gives you the time. Great guy, very caring, very intelligent.

I surprisingly enjoyed this class. I normally am not a math guy, but Dr C did a good job explaining it. GO TO CLASS because he goes over almost identical problems that are on the homework and the tests

I recommend Dr. Choudhury's 4 wk summer class online. There was 4 tests every Thur., online hw was due prior to the tests. Tests were 2 parts 20 RN mc questions worth 40% and 6 word problems worth 60%. RN mc was easy, word problems were often the same as the hw ?'s with different numbers. Hw can be long but he has RN practice ?'s that are the same.

This teacher was horrible. The test are online, ReggieNet is easy, but the Pearson Lab is extremely challenging. The online tests and homeworks have multiple parts which takes hours to complete. On the test, no partial credit is given. The book is about $230 and is needed but the examples in the book are not very helpful for test or homework. NO!

Lectures are very boring, but can be helpful if you pay attention to the example problems. If you don't work on the problem during class, he will stand over you until you either figure it out or ask a question. He runs a strict class, but as long as you do the homework and study the problems, the tests aren't that bad. Overall, boring class.

He's not a bad professor, but the class is poorly set up. You essentially copy the examples he does in class, and plug that into the homework and tests, all of which are online (Reggienet and MyLab.) He also creates an expensive, custom textbook you have to buy to properly understand the examples. Extra credit for perfect attendance, though.

Provides insights to many relevant and useful operations management practices. Has practical experience and has done consulting work for large companies. Must pay close attention as he has a thick accent, but he is one of the best professors that Ive had.

Dr. Choudhury's class is basically monkey see, monkey do. He demonstrates the questions that you'll see on the hw, and then asks the class to try an example on their own. The tests are online, with one part being MC and the other part is on OMLab. He takes attendance every class period and offers extra credit if you come to every class.

He is great as a person, not so much as a professor. He is hard to understand and the class is very tough especially if you don't go to class. Basically a stats class.

Doesn't fully understand his course and the material shows that. There's no point to go to class, as his tests are over the homework. Don't buy the book, just understand the homework and you'll be in for an easy B.
