Honestly the only complaint is that she goes by supperrrr quickly! But shes extremely smart and knows what shes talking about. If you need help go to tutoring, and ask her for advice. Also do your homework and youll definitely pass the class

Comment:

She was very accommodating. She stops lecture to go over anything you didn't understand about the problem she just went over. Most students don't do the homework, but you should. She gives extra credit if you complete HW and partial credit for problems on tests(so show work). Also, you must pay attention, or you will fail if something was missed.

Comment:

One of the best Math professors I've ever had. I've always struggled in Math, and she made it so much easier to understand. She does tend to go fast when she's teaching, but other than that a great professor. Gives review sheets, in depth reviews, and extra points on exams if you complete your homework. Would definitely recommend taking her.

She is the best math professor Ive ever had. Although she does go fast she is still very thorough. She gives you review sheets before the tests along with formulas you should study. The only thing is there are a lot of homeworks. But she gives u 5 points extra on the test when you get above a 70 on them. I would def take her again

Amazing lectures, but if you don't understand Math... You are in luck she gives clear explanations and tells you why this... or why that... Make sure to study and do your HW.

She is a great professor and makes everything easy. As long as you study and pay attention you will do great. Her tests are easy but she only gives you a formula sheet on the final, you should remember all of the formulas anyway they aren't that hard.

Does not offer an extra credit. Hard professor, speeds through lectures so most of it your left to teach yourself. LOTS of hw online. Does not give formula sheet for tests throughout the semester and then throws it at you during the final. Little help when asked. Says she tutors but she never showed up when I went for help.

Lets be honest, if you want a good grade in this class you have to work for it (do hw on time, ask questions, TUTORING and study). But prof Carreras is a real gem and she tries her hardest to make you understand! Best math teacher I've ever had. She turned a girl who was terrible at math to a girl who aced this class! MUST TAKE!

She's a good math professor, but she goes a little bit too fast sometimes. At the beginning it was pretty easy since it was algebra and then a bit of pre calc but i wish we spent more time on the trig part because it was slightly confusing and we spent May focusing more on exams than trig.

Great Teacher. Dont Miss too many classes cause you'll lose track (Hard To catch Back Up) Has Office hours after class . shes even Better One on One . She open To Helping anybody while teaching the lesson, and making sure they understand it. Would Take her class Again!

Amazing professor. She's a little fast through her lectures but she does stop when you ask a question. She makes everything clear and easy to understand. Study the review, do the homework, take notes, and you should be fine.

Professor Carreras is absolutely AMAZING! If you're someone who struggles in math, if you take Carreras she will help you pull out an easy A/B. Her lectures help you really understand trig, her reviews for her exams are super helpful and gives extra credit based on online homework. She really cares about her students. Take her she's awesome!

Professor Carreras is one of the best teachers that I ever had. Unlike other math teachers, she is patient and good at explaining. She expects students to do the online homework and will add extra 5 points to the exams. MTH 123 isn't very hard but has a lot of things to memorize. Take her if you had a chance!

Great professor. Explains thoroughly and doesn't rush too much. Very accommodating as well. Gives review sheets which are extremely helpful and gives opportunities for extra credit. Go to class and stay on top of your homework and you'll do well. I dropped mth123 3x before sticking it out with her.

She is a very nice professor but she teaches in a fast pace. All her hws are on webassign and there are 4 tests in total including the final. She gives out review sheets and they're pretty reasonable and similar to the tests. I recommend going to her for tutoring since she's good at explaining and knows her subject very well.
