YES!! The Main/Payne legends! Took DifEQ with him and loved it. Such a very, very hard course - but you will learn so much. He applies the info he teaches you so that you don't ever feel like you're doing busy work. This class is about learning, you won't pass if you don't apply yourself- but apply yourself, and you'll learn SO much. Great guy.

Incedible teacher. prepared me for future classes very well. Anyone who says he didn't care if the students learned probably never went and talked to him outside of class. He is extremely helpful and will bend over backwards to help anyone ir they'll give him a chance. Explains things very well. He is Carl "The Main Man" Main!

best math teacher i've ever had. ive only taken him for the upper level math classes but can honestly say the classes have been some of my favorite classes in college so far. homework is mandatory and graded and collected on a daily basis which helps like you have no idea. take his classes, you wont regret it

Don't take him for lower level math, it's hard for him to reach down at your level. "order out of chaos" is his whole deal, but he's not very clear. He's a very nice man and I hear he's better for upper level math classes.

The man likes his maths. If he could just teach them instead of telling anecdotes about climbing into your brain, and relating math to the bible, you may be able to learn. A small amount of offense may be taken from his hand raising method of quieting the class down.

Great math teacher. The 3 semesters I took his clases, I was confused a total of 5 times. Very detailed and careful explanations for everything. He WILL take the time to help you if you need it.

Class was great. I learned a lot and because of his teaching was able to understand my basic circuits courses very well later on. His methods took some time to learn, and the tests were long and hard and the homeworks sometimes took a while.
