catherine is a FANTASTIC teacher!!! by far the best at camosun. she is very passionate about the subject and cares about her students. she will make you care a lot about the class with you knowing she is doing it. i think she's an incredible person, i highly recommend her!!!!!

straightforward textbook instruction. holds your hand all the way. best suited to those fresh out of high school or otherwise new to college. kinda drab for independent or creative students. very charitable marking style. heavy on the environmental ideology--"critical thinking" my ass. overall pleasant teacher but nothing inspiring.

Catherine is a cool tree hugger! She knows her stuff, and although a tree hugger, she does not let her personal views get in the way of being a professional, thank you. I credit Catherine with sparking my interest in Geog. and my plans to take more courses. Act like an adult, go to class and study and you will get a good grade.

Catherine rocks! She is extremely knowledgable and can answer ANY questions that come up in class. Not only admirably intelligent, she is approachable and friendly too! Because Catherine puts all the notes online, you can print them off to take to class. I found I retained so much more info in lectures this way and found tests to be a breeze!
