Perhaps the hardest grader ever. Little to no partial credit. He's quite particular in how he wants things formatted. He takes into consideration your hard work during the semester. Come to class on time, do the homework, work quickly on tests and you'll be fine. May feel like you're failing, but he deff curved the class.

He is actually a very good teacher that really makes you learn a lot. He does not make this an easy class, so you have to show up or you won't pass! This was a mistake many people made during the semester, but as long as you go to class and do the work, then this man is a great professor.

This is Calc 3, so do not expect to fly by. He does have an accent, but he makes difficult concepts easy to understand. Assigns lots of practice problems, so do all; most his testsquizzes come from there. He demands perfection, therefore he does not offer partial credit. Very funny, courteous, respectable man. Would take his class again no doubt!

Rhee was an excellent instructor. His lectures were very straightforward, and he made difficult to understand concepts so easy to process. His tests were questions straight from the book or what we did in class, possibly just with different numbers. Also a very nice and funny guy. Only thing is, he's a tough grader- not much partial credit given

Do not even think about taking this professor. You think, "oh he's a tough grader, it'll be okay," no it will not. He is downright terrible and I am good at math. I was averaging 60s until I decided there was no point going to class, then I got a 99 on my final. Only because of math tutors. I promise, you WILL regret it

If you really want to do well I strongly suggest you sit in the front to avoid all distractions and really focus on what he is saying. To pass, you must do all your homework problems, most quiz and test problems are from the homework. His accent wasn't to hard to understand. He wrote in cursive for the most part. He could be a tough grader at times

Please do not take calc 2 with him. I have loved math way into middle and elementary school and through high school and this man has made me want to jump into i75. (no joke) I carry an entire thing of Xanax to class because his grading to so tough and unclear and he gives the longest and toughest problems on quizzes and tests

He wasn't the best teacher, but if you memorized homework problems tests/quizzes are a piece of cake. Once I got a 99% on an exam. You're also allowed to drop an exam so it helped. He never posted grades during the semester, but even if you felt like you failed every quiz, he really considered your grade if you worked hard and showed up to class.

Professor Rhee gives us a clear proof in each section. If you want to understand the most, sit in the 1st roll, but do expect you need to answer all of his questions. For tests and quizzes, it's all from homework. He didn't curve this class, and it's a hard A. If you put your 100% effort, you will be fine.

I learned the material well even the professor agreed I had a good understanding in office sessions. But his tests are difficult and long (most students don't finish) and he uses very challenging complex problems. Also, he gives very very little partial credit. Almost impossible to catch up if you do not get A's on your first 2 exams.

The worst professor I’ve ever had.Not only will he find the most difficult problems to throw at you in quizzes and exams,he will give you no partial credit.Even if you made a simple sign error. Before you know it,you will flunk and you don’t even know what hit you. He takes pride in the fact only 4 people showed up for the final out of the 29.

I feel like I learned the topics, but his tests are rather difficult (most students don't have enough time to finish). Also, he gives very little partial credit. He doesn't put anything on Blackboard and your entire grade is based on tests and quizzes. Overall, he's just okay. I'm sure he could be worse but don't count on an easy A.

He has an accent, but his English is very good. I recommend sitting in front because he speaks quietly. And do the homework, because that's where most of his test and quiz questions come from. Overall a fantastic professor and very helpful if you ask.

The teacher always turns around after writing on the board and sticks out his toung. Calc is a difficult class but I've taken way easier math classes at the university before.

He is a good math teacher, if you pay attention and do your homework. He is hard to understand at first but you get used to it, it didnt affect his teaching of the material. All test and quiz problems come directly from assigned homework problems... and calc2 isnt exactly the easiest class to begin with. Its rigorous but you'll survive

Hardest math teacher so far. Parts of the quizzes and tests are directly from the homework. Be sure to do them. Partial credit is terrible. Simple mistakes such as sign errors can cause you to get the entire problem wrong or get only half credit even if everything else is right. Don't recommend if you can't read cursive. Otherwise, know your stuff.

I'd avoid him. He never gives partial credit, and near the end of the course (Sequences and Series), he's a monster with picking out little things and giving you zero credit for correct work. The class is hard. Too hard in my opinion for Calc2, from what I hear about other profs.

Overall good teacher. Has a little accent but its not bad. DO THE HOMEWORK PROBLEMS. They really prepare you for the quizzes and tests. His partial grading is confusing at times but you can talk to him and usually get points back. ASK QUESTIONS. He takes time to go over homework problems, USE IT, and you'll do fine in the class.

Pretty hard teacher. You WILL know your stuff at the end of the semester, regardless of your struggle. Go to office hours for understanding and fight for partial credit. His examples are out of the book. DO THE HOMEWORK and you will not struggle with the quizzes. REVIEW THE QUIZZES before an exam and you wont do too bad. He is hard but worth it.
