One of the best professors I've had. Textbook not needed but you do need the notes outline packet. His lectures cover everything and he explains things well so show up to lectures and you'll . Only a couple quizzes throughout the semester and he drops your lowest. Gives extra credit on quizzes. Homework you get full credit if you try. Only 3 tests.

Awesome professor. Really funny and nice. Has good lectures and gives lots of examples. Tests and quizzes match the examples so show up to lectures. Homework isn't often and you have a couple weeks to do it. You don't need the textbook but you need the printed overheads for like $20.

One of my favorite professors. His exams are hard but if you go to every class, do the homework and review before the test youll do fine. Only required text was his powerpoint slides which was like 20 bucks. I would take him for all my classes if I could.

Prof. Gallet is a good professor. Lectures get a little tiring, but the information is important, so pay attention. Didn't need the book, everything was based on the lecture. He's very generous with extra credit and curves the grade at the end.

Professor Gallet is very approachable for any help or clarification if needed. The class is taught via overhead. You get a notebook that looks like lecture slides from most Econ professors and he fills it out with you as the class progresses. Extra credit given for each exam to boost you 10 whole percentage points, and if you got 100 they roll over

This class was on a whole different level. I took Econ1A and did fine. The book we bought to take notes in, makes it seems like it will be easy. Don't assume it will. The average of tests and quizzes were not that grade. He curved the class average at the end. Take someone else if you can. Be warned.

Took this class over the summer. Very old school, lectures can get really boring. A LOT of information, no note card on exams. If you want to learn practical econ stay away. He definitely curved the class quite a bit. The average on the first exam was a 68, the final was much harder and i should have got a C- in the class but somehow got a B.

At first, he seems like a very nice professor and it'll be easy to pass if you buy his notebook and follow along, but he is all over the place with his notes! He goes over the material fairly fast and exams and quizzes are tough. Overall, class average was a C- to a D and he said that was normal! What?! Anyways, don't take him or you'll regret!

Even though he's a little monotonous, he gives you a study guide you take notes in, which makes quizzes and homework really easy. He's extremely accessible also l. He's a must take.

Book is not needed. Go to class, and copy his lecture material. Pretest are given before exam. He goes over with you and explain which concept he is testing you on. Easy class if you put in work. I got over 90+/100 on all three of his exam. And he curves so easy A+ class if you go to class and actually study

This teacher is great. If you have a chance to take him, you'll be satisfied with the knowledge you gain. The other comments are boring are true, so you'll have to be engaged on your own to learn the information. Two exams through the semester: midterm and final. Homework and quizzes every two weeks. Provides extra credit quizzes to help students.

He is a great instructor. Knows the material very well, and explains them better anyone else in econ department. Tests are easy if you attend and take notes. He use his own booklet so it makes it easy to takes note, and no textbook is really required. If you want to learn and pass 141 with a good grade take him

I had an enjoyable exp in 141. Dr. Gallet is great at explaining material intuitively and in a manner most can understand; his lectures may be dull, his text is a must, but he is very supportive to the student. Dr. Gallet also helped me instrumentally with my 145 project. Without a doubt Dr. Gallet is one of the most knowledgeable econ profs.

very boring. teaches like a 1950's professor. all on an old school projector. well organized and straight forward. not helpful though. nothing he teaches has to do with real life economics. it's all formulas and theory. he refuses to talk about real life stuff. and his class is non-stop work in his horrible workbook.

Gallet is an extremely nice professor. The material is very hard though, well, it seems easy when he goes over it - but the quizzes are SUPER hard, and they catch up to you. So, don't underestimate the quizzes and study for the tests. He is helpful in office hours, and drops the lowest quiz.

This guy is like the Visine guy. He is extremely boring and his lectures are all based on the projector. I would not recommend his classes. There are better econ professors in that department.

Great professor. He requires this booklet where he summarizes all his lectures, which is very useful. This class is not easy if you dont have a basic idea of regressions and statistics.
