She is a nice lady, but god damn her lectures are soooooooooo booooring. Midterms and Final were fairly easy. I attended only the first couple of lectures, and slept through all of them. Overall she's not that bad.

Does not know her stuff. Makes alot of mistakes when doing stoich calculations, which is pretty scary. Tests are moderate, just know your stuff. SHE HAS TO BE THE WORST LECTURER- SUPER SUPER UNCLEAR, MUMBLY, CANNOT EXPLAIN THINGS WELL AT ALL. SHE ONLY CONFUSES ME MORE WHEN I ASK HER TO EXPLAIN THINGS. DO NOT TAKE HER.

She is horrible. She uses powerpoint with pictures straight from the book and really does not know how to teach. She has brain lapses which throws the entire class off. Don't take her class.

Lectures come straight from the book. Tests were multiple choice, which saved my ass. Nice, friendly lady who is willing to help. Take this class if you dont know anything about chemistry; you can still pull a B or an A.

I didn't go to class and read the chapters before the test and got an A. The only time I did go to class was to make fun of her enormous pants and butch haircut. All aside, she seemed nice and you can get a good grade if you can read and understand chemistry.

If you are going to take Gilbert's course, ask yourself: "Can I teach myself?" If you can learn the material on your own and have some sort of foundation in Chemistry already, you should be fine. I cut lectures all the time and I got an A in the class.

Look... I went to about half the lectures before the first and second midterms and I studied by reading the book and doing the practice probs... I got an A- on the first midterm and a A-/B+ again on the second midterm. Bottom line... just study hard, lectures aren't so important.

Very nice lady. Writes things on the board clearly and works them out with the class. Sometimes uses powerpoint, which can help. Tests and homework are fair. She will prepare you for real chemistry. And her daughter is adorable!

I took her class last year, But I'm so disgruntled I'm going to comment on her again. She sucks. The minute you step into class. bend over, and touch your toes. Get ready to get****d by her monotone voice. Occasionally she'll throw in a joke about her cute son, but really does anyone care?

uhm...for the few classes that I actually did go to, it was pretty ****ing boring and stupid. Really, there is no need to go to lecture especially when its at 6PM. Her tests are pretty simple though, if you study the practice exams.
