he knows his subject very well but is not a great teacher. To him it's very easy to you is very complicated. Has trouble explaining the basics to students. The test are very hard and a lot of times there are questions on subjects that we did not discuss.take at your own risk. I managed to make a C.

Great teacher. Will make you really work for your grade, so don't expect an easy A. He goes over the lab in class and before lab, and again the following class period which is great if you have a hard time in lab or really repetitive if you've already finished. Tests are straight-forward and easy if you study. Dry humor if you catch it. Got a B :)

The only reason I did well in this class is because I already knew VHDL from a previous class and I read the 8051 text extensively. I suggest reading the text during class instead of paying attention, you'll get more for your time. Who said his lectuers were interesting and amusing? could you tell me who your dealer is? I'd LOVE to buy some of that

Don't listen to people that say he's impossible.These are usually people that don't want to do any work or studying and expect to get an A.This was definitely one of the more challenging, yet fun classes I've taken.Prof.Wilcox's method is for you to use your own brain so that YOU can figure the stuff out instead of spoon-feeding you the info.

I had wilcox for digital 2, hes one of my favorite professors. He is a funny guy, hes not in your face funny, but if you pay attention to his lectures he puts funny jokes in them, if your not paying attention your probly wont catch them. He is willing to help you outside of class even if your not in his class, but he wont do your project for you.

2classes: D2/El2.Both nightmares.teaching method is horrible and proven by exam averages/# of projects not working.dumbed down teaching metaphors=useless/demeaning.never get asmnts back.Exams for D2 include 75% stuff never mentioned(random datasheet info).Elctr is memorization not understanding.Dont even try going to him for help: insulting.AVOID

This prof never taught Digital I before June 2007! He is tough, fair, and exams are straight forward. Labs are hard and very time consuming. He expects the students to apply in lab what was taught in class. I think he is very good.

He is great! I'm glade i had Jenkin for Electronics I. Take him for Electronics II, the class is easy. I hope i got an A. The class kinda boring, but over all he is cool. This guy do 90% of ur lab for you. Take good note and u will ace his test. He will tell u exactly what is on the test.
