Dave is a good teacher. He helps you out when you need it. Can be sporadic at times, but funny. He will answer a question a few times to make sure you understand. He even bought the whole class breakfast one morning. Over all a good class to take. Show up and take notes, ask questions if you need to and don't be scared of the test. He gives hints.

the one thing that a person should know about dave is that there is no such thing as a condescending answer for a stupid question. really nice guy and always makes you feel good about asking questions. don't be afraid to ask. of all the math teachers ive had, he is the nicest and there is no such thing as a stupid question.

He's an outstanding teacher. He'll make time for his students and work with them to understand the subject, and he'll try to pull you back in when you start to drift. He knows his stuff and enjoys teaching, if you have trouble with math, this is the right class for you.

Great teacher. Truly one of my favorites. He is easy if you show up to class, take notes, and do your HOMEWORK. There are NO trick questions on the tests and he is easily found in his office and is very willing to help you succeed. No partial credit, but that was fine there is no partial credit in math.

Comment:

Test questions looked like homework and problems done on the board, so show up and take notes. Easily approachable in office hours, and really wants you to succeed in math. There is no partial credit but don't worry because he doesn't put in trick questions, all are straightforward.

I had Dave for College Algebra. If you do the hw, pay attention and show up to class, you should do fine. He gives no partial credit on tests. Tough grader, but gives a TON of hints on tests. He is very helpful during his office hours. I wish he could be my calculus teacher!

Just had him this semester for college algebra and it was really hard to understand i felt like he only taught the way he wanted to and didn't help to explain it to others. He's funny and a greath guy though

I just had Dave for Stats and did not enjoy the class at all.His teaching method is sporadic at best.Not very helpful and comes to class unprepared and unorganized. His tests are scantron so no partial credit.Don't take MWF class, there isn't enough time to get through lessons. He is funny but he is not a good teacher.

im in college algebra with him now and i don't recomend him. no partial credit and no multiple choice.he gives answers during the tests but i guarantee if you know math you will outsmart him in class multiple times. very nice guy and very funny

There is no partial credit. Teaching is incoherent.I spent many hours TEACHING MYSELF college algebra. I dropped his class because theres no organization to his teaching. He is a very nice guy.The homework is usually due the next day, and he makes a quick glance;100%. There is no make-up on any assignment.

2nd time taking this teacher and 2nd time writing a comment on Rate My Professor. EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! Probably the best I have had at Butte. I always have had an extremely tough time with math. He was always there to help and make sure I understood what was being taught. Funny as hell! Great personality! Great teacher.

WATCH OUT.....with this class!Mr.Dully's exams are not easy because you get a one shot chance when you write the answer to the math problem in the test.He does not give partial credit.Make sure you make a study guide because he does not hand one out to his students.Despite this, he is nice;however, I don't recommend him.

He is seriously a hilarious guy. But his notes are directyl from the book. If i wanted to teach myself how to do math i would have jsut bought the book. He really does not care about his students or what they are doing. He does not care about work he just wants the answer. So you work forever on a problem and get i wrong its zero points.

EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! I am one that hates math, and can't understand it if my life depended on it. He made it easy and fun. I want to take him for my transferable math (Nature of Mathmatics), but I don't know if he's teaching anymore. I heard you gamble in that class :-). Get this teacher for math, you won't regret it!

Very easy teacher to take. We went kind of slow because we had alot of slower people in the class. If your looking for an easy A this is the class however I dont think he prepared us for higher math classes all that well. We only made it to like chapter 6.2 in the book. Nice guy though.

His grading scale is amazing (80-90%= A) and he teaches you each lesson in class. He gives you plenty of study resources and is there to help if you need him. He also teaches you different ways to do one math problem, if you have a different learning style it helps. I hate math, but i loved this class.

Comment:

Mr. Dully is a great teacher. He's very friendly and helpful to his students. I'm horrible when it comes to math, but I was still able to do well in his class because of his teaching ability. Homework is essential for doing well on the tests. He gives you the odds to check your work, don't just copy the answers! If you do the homework and study for the tests you'll do fine.
