Dr. Sandy is an AWESOME teacher! By far one of the best teachers at Shelton. His class is easy, just make sure you attend classes and copy the notes he puts on the board because these are where mostly all of his test questions come from!I had Dr. Sandy for Lit 251 and 252 but he also teaches ENG 101 and 102.

Take this class! Pr. Sandy is sharp as a tack, passionate about literature, and one of the mellowest people I have ever met. Cool as they come, and very eager to help you out. Attendance not req'd, but always worthwhile. Subject matter is very cool and accessible. Pr. Sandy is genuinely there for the betterment of his students. Can't recom. enough!

Mr. Sandy is the best English teacher I have ever had. In high school, I have always struggled with writing papers. When I had him, he helped me out a lot. He gives good examples for topics on papers and is very creative. He makes good points.I enjoyed his class. The only way you would fail his class is if you did not try or did not come to class.

Attendance did not matter and I only showed up to take tests (very easy and short - 20questions) and quizes. Material was VERY easy and he is probably the nicest teacher I have ever had. Making a B is very easy, I dont know of anyone that made an A. It's like no matter what you do, you will make a B... Whether its nothing, or a lot of work.

GREAT! take him! to the point, entertaining. explains the stories very well. take notes, and read the stories. i actually read all the stories on sparknotes if they were really long, and I made a B. Also, write a good essay for the test. Not a little 2 paragraph something. Study material and you will be fine! Highly recommend him!

Extremly nice guy. Very helpful. This was a Lit. class where stories can be very hard to understand. Mr. Sandy explains very throughly!! I took as summer split, so moved VERY fast, which made it difficult. No quizzes to help w/ grade...only tests or paper. I do think though that he has quizzes for regular semester students. Very laid back & cool.
