Professor Ragsdale was an very kind and funny teacher.Although his Saturday classes are long he gives short breaks. He gives study guides before the next test(multiple choice with a short essay)I was planning on taking him again for 1302,but he is not having a class in 2011Spring sadly.I highly recommend him.He is very passionate about history.

Took his Saturday class, has a good sense of humor. His lectures are not boring goes by a study guide which he helps answer during class. Just make flash cards to study with and it's an easy grade. Took 1302 with him as well.

Mr. Ragsdale is a great teacher, I took him for HIST 1301 & 1302. He's actually really funny. He issues a study guide to fill out. As long as you do the work you will have no trouble with the test. Oh, yeah, there is also an essay question you have answer on each test. I would recommend him to all. I made an A in both classes. :-)

Great teacher! I would highly recommend him. He made the class fun and always spoke on a level we could understand. The only negative on him is there is an essay on each test. I made an A.

He was a great professor especially when it comes to the subject of a saturday morning history class for 3 hours. He made the class very exciting and not a bit boring. Unlike some professors, he is very "life like" if I may.
