For a SPEECH professor, he is the best you can get. 2 Individual speeches (informative, persuasive) and 1 group speech. You also have a midterm with all the vocab words(he tells you which ones are on the exam).Attendance is mandatory.But really, there is no pressure in speeches, very laid back.It is not intense like other speech classes.Take him!

ok this man stutters a lot and speakssssss for wayyy too long.. but if you like to waste your time and get a good grade for it go for it.. there is 3 speeches through the entire semester and the third one is your final.. ohh and he can be really rude if he doesnt like the topic you have chosen for a speech

I Loved Prof. Brooks. He is hard of hearing (ironic for a Speech class) Once you get past that mentally he has alot to offer.He knows his stuff. Material very real life and very knowledgeable of the subject. Fair and Easy...loves participation. Older book addition OKAY to use.

Boring professor and unfair in grading. I did great power point presentations for my speeches and got the same grade as someone who bs'd their speech. Other than that hes an easy A just write down his notes and show up to class. I dont believe anyone gets lower than a B

Easy A! There's one test and everything that's on the test, he writes in his notes on the board. Put just a little effort into your speeches and you'll ace those too. I threw my speeches together in 5-10 min and got A's.Very nice, very laid back guy.He's hard of hearing though, so when he ignores what you say, it's just because he didn't hear you.

i dont know how i stayed awake for any of these classes-he's real easy, you just have to do the assignments-they aren't hard-soo incredibly boring i don't know how he finds all these stupid things to talk about in an hour and 20 minutes..
