Ugh, thank goodness you were able to take the tests home! All answers can be found online. He lectures for 3 hours straight and never once has class been dismissed early. I suggest finding another ENGL class to take.

Gave me an A but I have to say his information was stuck in the 18th-19th Centuries. He hasn't kept up with current scholarship and, worst of all, continues to maintain rather dogmatically that his is the definitive position. So it was more like taking a history class.

Pretty horrible. He was clear on the assignments but graded horribly. Only 1 test, but 4 out of class essays and about 4 in class, midterm, research paper and final. You can miss class but make sure to go on the essay days. Only go if you wanna hang out with a girl from class lol.

If you take his class, you have to be highly self motivated. He is a wise old man and students find him hard to relate to. Be prepared to ask him many times to clarify his assignments. Stick to the schedule and do the reading. Writing assignments require specific refrences to the assigned readings.

The only reason Kilkeary is still at Glendale, is because he is tenured! He is very unclear as to what exactly what he wants in his essays. For our first essay, he just told us to write an essay. He didn't specify ANY topic, just told us to write an essay. I did learn how to think indepently and not rely on the teacher to TELL me what to write.
