Professor Aquino is a very nice person who helps you in getting a passing grade. She offers many extra credit opportunities and lab is super easy. She gives you a 100 only if you show up to lab. Her lectures can be slow and boring but she explains good. The tests are multiple choice about 40 questions. Uses Mylab online. Enjoyed her class. Lg

WORST CLASS EVER. She constantly lost my labs and told me I didn't turn them in when I did. Constantly muttering things under her breath about the people she didn't like. Very condescending and rude. I am an A student, and I got a C because of the amount of my homework she lost and insisted I didn't do.

Super sweet woman, really nice and has jokes. She goes a little slower, but because I'm slow too, it was great. Gives lots of online HW, but that grade helps out in the average. Gives 20 points of extra credit which is AMAZING!

Comment:

She explains all the required material well, tells you what you should to study and what not to, and makes sure everybody understands. Those who have given negative reviews probably had a class with quiet students which isn't the professor's fault, just something to keep in mind. My class was lively and we had fun.

Lectures are boring, very unclear, and hard to follow. I am an A student and struggled with this class. She makes you purchase connect for the online homework ($90) and it was constantly down, which makes it hard to study if you didn't buy the $200 hardcover book. She gives Extra credit which you have to do in order to pass. Very frustrating class!

Incredibly dull. Bored to tears, I couldn't stand listening to her drone on. Would always leave angry feeling that my time had been so wasted. Yeah she's easy if you can ignore her constant stuttering, stumbling, and all the um-ing and ah-ing. She's not passionate about what she teaches and if she is, well you wouldn't have guessed it. Dropped her.

Professor is very nice and always has a smile on her face. Her grading system is cool because although you may fail an exam, or two, or three, you can STILL pass the course. Extra credit is a MUST. Attendance is MANDATORY. Overall, I was confused during lecture, but easy to pass.

she was the best chemistry professor ever! she taught at a slow rate but that only helped understand everything more. her extra credit is so easy and helpful. shes like a cute older professor that can make her students laugh. she was so easy on the labs and the homework is simple. so its super easy to make an A in the class

Awesome teacher. Just go to lecture, lab and pay attention in class and you should come out the class making an â??Aâ?? or a â??Bâ??. If you had chemistry before then this class should be a piece-a-cake. Just do the review before the test and you should be fine. Also, must have some math skill(College Algebra) before coming to this class. Made an â??A+".

Super sweet and helpful professor. Attendance not mandatory but she likes you to come to class (I've missed due to studying for other classes). Subject is pretty easy. Study and review and you should have no problem acing the class. Can seem slow if you pick things up quickly. Great lady though!

she is an awesome teacher, alot of extra credit.her tests are not that easy or hard its average.her goal is to let u out early if she is finished with the material that set for that day,she is helpful.but u have to study to pass.chem is not an easy class!i recommend her for anyone who wants to complete chem as a required course!

I took her class in 5 weeks.She grades very fairly and she gives alot of extra credit. she is just interested in you understanding the concepts. The hardest test was the final there are alot of questions from the test.Take her is slow but very helpful!!

Comment:

Chemistry, for most of us, is hard. There is no way around that no matter who you take. However, if you're going to suffer this class, this is the teacher to do it with. She only does labs that are relevant to the lecture. She offers GREAT opportunity for extra credit. I took her in a 5 week class and managed a B. 16 week class would be a breeze.

Dr. Aquino is an awesome professor!!! She teaches you step by step, and makes chemistry not so frustrating. I highly recommend taking her if you are required to take Chemistry. I never took chemistry in High School and I made a great grade in her class. This subject is NOT easy it requires attendance and lots of studying.

If you have to take Chem, I recommend Aquino..I learned alot in her class. She is a very smart lady..The notes were straightforward and the test reviews were set up like the actual test. There is extra credit available and it really helps you if you take advantage of it.Chem 2 is hard work but doable. I made an A.
