Burnstein is a great professor! I took him for 110 and 181. His lectures are easy to follow and he tells you exactly what is going to be on the tests, so no need for text books. He uses good examples which makes it easy to recall information during test time. He likes to joke around a bit but its harmless and makes the lecture go by faster.

Great Professor! Only teaches you what you need to know for the test, so i would suggest not buying the textbook. Lectures are very straight forward and to the point, and you usually get out at least 20 minutes early. Gives you hints on what is on the test. Only 4 tests (where you get extra credit just for taking it), and he drops the lowest grade

Awesome professor, great stories and insight. You will barely open the book because you'll be taking notes while he talks for 2 hours. The tests are fair and so is his grading. He even lets you drop your lowest test score. Loved his class.

The Best psychology teacher you'll ever take. 40 years of practical experience in the field. He is well known in his field. We are lucky to have him teaching at a community college. Tests are not difficult and he covers everything that he tests. Nice guy and approachable. Many Funny stories from his vast experience. I've taken him twice already

he was always straight forward about the class. he was easy going, loved to share stories, made the material interesting. sometimes it was hard to stay still...he literally just sits and talks for 2 hours straight...its hard to get everything but try to take great notes. study your notes right before the test and you'll be set

by far my favorite professor to date. just to listen to what he says in class and take notes and you'll get an A. i didn't open my text book ever. he is really funny and extremely knowledgeable about psych. he works as a psychologist and teach for the past 30 yrs so he had tons of stories to tell to keep class interesting. would def recommend him!

Dr. Burstein was awesome! He had funny stories to tell which made the class entertaining! I took him at night and we always got out no later than 8:30. His tests are easy if you study for them, and I didn't have to take the last test because I did well on the other 3!

I took Abnormal PSsychology at night from 6:30 to 9:15 and we got out EVERY week before 8:30. Take good notes, he had 4 exams, no papers or quizzes. He takes the best 3 and throws out the lowest. He also grades the tests immediately when you take them, so you always know what's up. Great stories and and a nice guy too!

PAY ATTENTION and write your notes. He talks from experience a lot and tells many stories. He tends to jump from one subject to another as you're writing notes making it confusing to understand. If you are more of a visual person he is not the professor for you. He is a very nice guy and has a sense of humor. Tests are not bad IF YOU STUDY!!

Awesome. Experienced, dedicated, knows his stuff, and certainly makes the learning experience worthwhile by inviting class discussion to intermix with solid lecture. Take notes, study and easily get a decent grade.
