We were never assigned a paper that was not completely explained and worked on over multiple class periods. She made class enjoyable as we would share goofy journal entries each day. She is too kind and wants students to succeed too much to be a professor. She is more like a family member or mentor. Unfortunately she is retiring from Moorpark.

Donna is the best teacher to take for English. She's so nice and helpful. She makes the class interesting and tells cool stories about her personal life. 1 journal and 4 essays. She will read the novels to the class if you just ask her. No tests! Go to class, do the work, and it will be an easy, meaningful A.

She was wonderful. Gives 4 essays which are really easy. You write in a journal every class meeting. Only one assigned reading but she reads in class with you. she allows 9 absences and doesn't care if you're tardy. I would also recommend not buying the books.

Oh my god! Don't believe all the comment from this website. This is not an "easy A". She is helpless and concern about Grammar. Don't take this teacher. Awful, hard. Most of the students just got a B, don't expect she give you an A. Impossible.

BEST ENGLISH CLASS IVE EVER TAKEN!EASY A! She is so sweet& makes class interesting. Daily journal topics-all easy& fun. 4 essays-personal, narrative, argumenive,& analysis-topics you pick yourself.1 book to read-isnt the most interesting but still an easy book for english. This was the most useless class i have ever taken. We would have useless activities and discussions that didn't involve english at all. I never went to class, i even missed the "final" and i got an A. basically just do the essays on a high school level and you'll be fine.

The BEST teacher to take! She is the cutest and really wants her students to do well. There are four super easy essays and a journal with about 30 entries in it. Very fair grader and is soooo willing to help. Extremely understanding. She has the best laugh! It's contagious. Obsessed with TWILIGHT! Love ya D. MARSH!

easiest class i have ever taken since i was about 5 years old. I love her. her syllabis is very clear on what she expects and there are 4 easy essays. i got an A with no effort, missed or left class early many times. She lets you out early usually also. She understands we have other hard classes to worry about so she makes things incredibly simple

Donna Marsh is the best teacher I have had at Moorpark. As long as you have four essays to turn in, whether on time or not, you will do well. Class is a waste of time, but she takes attendance. Easiest class Ive ever had... all of the comments are very accurate. It really is like kindergarten...if you have to take english then i would suggest her.

She is so sweet and caring about her students. She gets you interested in the reading, and what's so great about it is that you don't have to read! She reads every reading assignment out loud with enthusiasm. All you have to do in the class is show up, write four papers, and write in your journal! She is the best English MO1A teacher!!

Bottom line, if you don't take this class your crazy. Best English teacher by far, easy, helpful, interesting discussions if you get involved. Lenient and grades fairly, if your having trouble she will help you out. Only thing I didn't like was how much she talked about her life and family, but I'd rather do that than tons of BS busy work.
