EDU100 is the First Year Experience class for Elementary Education Majors. The class is all lecture with 3 assignments to do outside class. Every class there are guest speakers. She is an amazing person if you go up and talk to her.

A very nice professor! Classes were most often discussion based with a lot of group work. There were 5 online quizzes, one in-class exam, two group research projects, and a mentoring report. There was almost always reading from the textbooks, which was the only tedious part of the class. Professor Pemberton was a great teacher for the class.

She's such a sweet lady, but the class is extremely boring. I learned nothing from this class. There are 5 online open book quizzes that are easy, one test, 2 projects and a paper. It's an easy class, but the assignments are not worth a lot, making it difficult to maintain an A in the class. Overall, easy class but has a very boring subject content

She's such a sweet teacher! But, I don't recommend this class with her if you want to actually learn about child development. I didn't learn much but wished I did! Easy A if you put in work towards doing the quizzes (which are not hard), studying for the midterm, and writing your final paper. Class isn't mandatory which is nice.

She is a very nice woman, and is always willing to help in any way that she can. The class is difficult, and she is a very strict grader. The online quizzes are hard, but the field placement is really fun. The class was tough, and no extra credit, but points even out because of the amount of assignments.

Dr. Pemberton is a great professor. Be sure to come to class and take notes - she bases a lot of test questions on her notes. Read the text and readings online and keep up with the material, and you will have no problem. Be prepared for placement. Dr. P. is really helpful and is genuinely concerned with her students' success. 205 is a good class.

Very easy class. She doesn't expect you to think. Just have to repeat what she tells in your lecture, and you will get an A in the class.

Not an easy class, but I like Dr. Pemberton. A lot of reading is required, and she gives pop quizes to make sure you read. I found the powerpoints tedious, the group work was interesting, but the reading is not always very interesting. Overall I recommend her.

The class itself is relatively difficult because of the amount of material. But she is a nop notch teacher so it made it alot easier. The attendance requirement really sucks though.

Rough class. WAY TOO MUCH MATERIAL! WAY TOO MUCH READING! Very nice prof. 2nd half of class far more useful than 1st. You probably have to take the class. She's not a bad teacher, it's just a bad class

Great Professor! Love her! Dont need to do readings. She pretty much talks about everything that is going to be on the exam on the powerpoints. Go to the review sessions! They help a lot and only last an hr. She really loves her job and students and wants to see everyone do well. Just need the book for projects, sometimes. BORROW SOMEONE ELSES.

She is a decent teacher but shows very little passion for the subject to her students. Very Dry. Uses all overheads. Tests are not easy and open ended. Does not like anything but exact wording she wants. Book is terrible and Class is very boring. Take her only if you have to!

Very interesting subject. You do need to GO TO CLASS!!! Lots of reading, don't have to do them, but it helps. Tests are all multiple choice! As long as you study, they're pretty easy! GREAT Professor...take the class!
