I took this class to help figure out what I wanted my major to be. Honestly, he is one of the nicest, most kind hearted people you will ever meet. Yes, there is a good amount of work, but it really is worth it because not only do you learn about education and the education system, but also about yourself. He's awesome. Best professor I've ever had.

Professor Dottin is Awesome! He gives feedback right away and communicates with all of the students individually. There was a case analysis paper due in the end but its a group assignment so it was easy and 15 hour field work. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to experience learning for real. This was his last year I was lucky to have him!

I've never had such a considerate and caring professor. Yes, this course does require a lot of work, but he lets you know that early on and offers as much help to students as needed, whenever, wherever, no questions asked. He's also flexible and very understanding if you need extra time. I was incredibly lucky to have him as a teacher!

Attendance is mandatory, he will email you about a lower grade. I absolutely detested this class, not only because it was at 7 in the morning, but because I felt like everything he taught was pointless. Only a case analysis paper which he takes really serious (group). He is really nice but horrible professor. 15 hours in a school must be done.

Just make sure you stand out in the class and he ail try his best to get you an A. yes, he does give tons and tons of work. You pretty much have to do work for his class every single day. He puts you in groups according to Graduate program. Gives you a lot of busy work. Very understanding. I took him twice because I had a "crazy" group literally. Looney bins. He gave me an incomplete and allowed me to me not register and sit in the next semestercomplete the work and changed my grade. Love him.

TAKE HIS CLASS! At first I wasnt sure of him because he doesn't tell you your grade until the end of the semester but just make sure to attend class and do what is asked. He gives FEEDBACK FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO and allows you to re-submit. Why would you not want to enroll in his class? EASY A or B, depending on how much effort you give.

Professor is nice.HOWEVER, the assignments are easy but WAY TOO much for an intro class basically there are assignments almost everyday.If you do not go to class it will affect your grade GREATLY,if he knows who you are in class you're already on the right path. To pass get yourself noticed,go to class and do the assignments and group case.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO! He's the worst. You never know what your grade is throughout the whole semester. So many hidden fees in the class. Where he makes you do your field experience at is far (Miami Gardens), has favorites, and gives WAY to much busy work. If you take his class it's like taking an online class with it.

Dottin is a very nice man but everything he teaches is dragged on and almost feels pointless. It is very easy work, just time consuming. He DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANY GRADES THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SEMESTER. So if you are one of those people who needs to see progress, no. If there is ANY OTHER teacher that teaches this class, choose them.

Professor Dottin is a sweetheart and his class was extremelyy easy! I took him for Summer A so our class didn't have to do all of the assignments that are required by the classes during Fall and Spring. He only assigned us 15 hours of field experience and a case study that is done in groups. He goes out of his way to be as helpful as possible.

He is AWESOME! Sweetest man i've know! his class is not that easy but it is very doable, as long as you try. He's extremely helpful and available at any time. His lectures are interactive. You do use the book towards the end of class. If you are an education major take him! he will inspire you because he's like the role model of an educator

He's a great professor. The first day of class he immediately outlines what he expects from you throughout the semester. You have to participate. He assigns a case study throughout the semester which is long but not difficult since he explains EVERYTHING. Turn in everything by the due date so you get feedback. Education majors take him !

Professor Dottin is very sweet and is willing to help. Almost all of the class assignments is group work. It is time consuming, but it helps to have a group to split the work. He gives you feedback on every assignment within 12 hours of you turning it in and allows you to correct your work. I highly recommend. I got an A.
