She's a nice professor if you put the work in. I had her last semester and she is a good teacher. Many people don't like doing her homework (which is very helpful and on the test) and don't like buying the online component for the class. If you study, participate, and focus, you'll pass.

Many students did not like her,I found that if you went to class did your homework and paid attention you would do well. It was hard at first considering i never took spanish and she mainly spoke spanish the entire time, but i feel like i learned more that way. If you don't like work, and dont go to class you should take her.I thought she was great

She is hands down the worst professor I have ever had. Teaching wise she's not so bad, but she publicly humiliates students and makes people feel bad about themselves and their spanish. She on numerous occasions singled me and other students out and was very rude. To some students she's sweet and they love her and to others she's terrible.

I took 205 and 216 with her. She is a good teacher, but she definintely makes you work for your A! She's also VERY strict about attendance; If you're not in class, you better have a good reason and proof! A word of advice: Take the 205 class very seriously. The excersizes wear off, but keep up on the summaries.

She is so bad she made me change my major. She told me I'd never be fluent and I would never be good enough, SERIOUSLY! Dr. Z is great, she tried to tell me to not change, but I was so Discouraged bc of Murillo. Worst prof. I've had to date!

I LOVE MURILLO!!She is so cute and an awesome teacher. She never yells or gets angry and you never feel intimidated in her class.. I'm so happy I get to experience her class and honestly, she makes me WANT to be a spanish major. take a class with her and see for yourslef!

Comment:

Senora made this class as easy as possible for me when she saw I tired my hardest. I tried really hard to get a good grade, and I ended up with an A-. Not bad for taking up to Latin 5 in high school. She had review classes whenever you asked and she broke up the 1hr 15 min class with some funny stories of her pet squirrell. Overall: good.

Senora Murillo is an amazing teacher, and the students who dislike her are the ones who don't want to put in the time or effort to be successful in her class. She just wants thoughtfullness and hard work put into answers and projects. I got an A in both classed I took from her. She appreciates good students and does what she can to help them.

This class was a lot of work. I began dreading going to class because although I have taken a great deal of Spanish and speak it well, she made me feel like I didn't know anything. There were a lot of assignments due at the end of the semester and it was very stressful. She will help you if you ask, though. Going to a restauant was fun.

She is a very nice teacher. She is very strict when it comes to doing homework and projects, but most of the time she gets side tracked and doesn't end up getting to the assigned homework until days later. Overall, very nice and very helpful, especially if you go to her for help.

The absolute worst teacher that i have ever had. she made me cry and told me I looked like a D average student. She is a horrible person that did nothing but talk her pet squirrel milly. I stopped taking spanish classes because of her.
