He's boring but College isn't an amusement park so you'll have to get used to it. The class is easy if you do the readings he assigns each week.(About 10 short pages a week) Each week or so there will be a quiz and it's either you know the answers or you don't. Goodluck.

This professor is a nice person, he means well but I felt like this was independent study. Going to class is pointless if you read the book. He goes over the material after you take the exams. This class might as well been an online class.

He is a great person BUT, i usually get As and i got a B+. He is very boring and a hard grader because u need to write down every little detail. He does drop 2 quizes and allows alot of absenses BUT IF U WORRY ABOUT YOU GPA FALLING DEFINATELY DONT TAKE HIM!!!

He is the best. I would take him for 232 if possible. He is very easy, a fair grader, and for his midterms all you need to do is read the text readings, write everything down and you are okay. He lets you fix and redo also! and he drops 2 of 6 quizzes.

I took his for both sections.yes he is seemingly easy bc he tells u the essay question b4 the final and midterm but hes really not much of an easy grader.his quizess can be tricky & his class is absolute TORTURE! it literally feels like your are sitting there for 10 hours his vioce is soo monotone and he talks forever.its not worth it 4 a good grad

he allows 7 or 8 cuts...which is too good to be true..he gives quizs(multiple choice) you have 2 midterms and a final exam (essays)..dont think you can write down whatever you have in the textbook on a piece of paper and copy it in your exam book...he wrote the damn book for gods sake so he knows when u do that...trust me i tried...really nice guyy

I took this professor for hist 231 and hist 232. He is nice tries to be funny but is kinda boring. You are allowed 8 unexcused absences. There are 2 midterms and a final for which all are only 1 essay question and you're given the topic before the exam. 6 quizzes 14Ques. only marks 12Ques and the 2 lowest quizzes are also dropped.You Cant Lose

very easygoing, polite, funny, flexible. the text is great and i like that he wrote part of it. quizzes are based on the text. for tests he gives review sheets and lets you pick what questions you want to answer so there are no surprises. he even does this for the final. his classes are the first to get filled up. taking him for his 232 also.

He seems easy: lets miss a lot of classes, drops 2Q out of 6, passes failing ppl,but he is not that good of a teacher and grader. His Qs are tricky,some Qsts have nothing to do with a text. Most important, he grades on grammar as much as how well the question is answered. So if u get A for an answer he can change it to D because of grammar.

One of the most fair and flexible Prof. in John Jay. He allows 7 absonces but drops you on the 8th. Easy class, just as long as you do the reading. He wrote part of the text book himself.

pretty boring but you gotta pay attention bc his quizzes are sooo detailed. gives 16 question quizzes and grades them out of 12 pts, so u get 4 free wrong answers. VERY FAIR GUY!! gives essays for 2 midterms and a final. gives the question in advance. again, VERY FAIR, but make sure u know it like the back of your hand.
