She does not explain things clearly AT ALL. Every time I left the class I got more confused, she has a hard time hearing so you have to yell at her for her to be able to understand. If you do not understand statistics before you go in I would not even bother taking the class because you won't learn it.

Worst prof I have ever had! Barely learned anything in her class, she just lectures, doesnt use SPSS. She doesnt use email or blackboard. To know grades, you must meet with her, but she has Poor office hours, hardly accessible outside class! Usually 5-10min late, 1st exam was supposed to be 2 months ago. Not a fair grader. Didnt even run our study.

Here is how you pass the class: she gives 6 tests that's it! drops lowest grade. first two exams easy, make sure you do well on them. middle few are hard. last few were also easy. She curves grade so if you got 88 and above its an A. Do homework every night, even tho she doesn't check, it helps. and you HAVE to buy her book, she wrote it.

She is an elderly woman who is intelligent. She understands the material but is unable to convey it in such a way that people understand. She is hard of hearing and it is difficult at times for her to recognize someone is trying to communicate with her when her back is turned. She has a dry sense of humor and she requires you to use her textbook.

she is Horrible. I have her for E2 and all she does is lecture about nothing. She gives test about things she didnt cover in class. She doesnt tell you where you stand in the class and she does not offer extra help. She talks straight out of the book. I DID NOT LEARN ANYTHING AT ALL ! DO NOT TAKE HER ! YOU WILL REGRET IT !

Great Professor. Shes very nice to speak to. She takes her time after class to help you with any misunderstandings. I would take her for Expt psy 2 but im taking it over summer. she gives 6 quizzes and she drops the lowest grade quiz from the first four. I enjoyed the class. Easy.

I took her for experimental psy1 and 2.She is clear in her notes and goes through things thoroughly in class. Just go to class and pay attention, take notes and you should do fine.If you need help she will take the time to help you.

She's rude, gets frustrated very easily, degrades students & embarasses them for no apparent reason. Her awful sense of humor makes me sick. Her book is full of mistakes and how she teaches is more complex than need be. Her exams are hard word problems and she grades harshly even if you put 5.05 and the answer is 5.04, she'll take 5 points off!!

I tool her and was surprised at how many bad comments she had so I had to write one myself. She is a great professor. She knows that this class is hard so she breaks everything up for you. She has her own book called statistics for dummies! Take her, I never would have passed it it wasnt for her help.

Dr. Leventhal is a great professor, knowledgeable of statistics,explains the material in a clear cut fashion, clear about what she wants, do your work, show some interest,she also makes herself readily available for those who need extra help. she's extremely helpful. you have to pay attention and take notes but she'll explain everything until it's clear you understand it. she usually lets you out early. and her tests are straight forward. she tells you..if you can do the homework you can do the tests and it's true it's all exactly like the homework. i would recommend her.

She looks like she would be mean, but she's not. She's really funny and she explains everything so well. The textbook (which she wrote)is SO easy to understand and its only $45!!! And she looks like a hobbit. :) Take her.

do not miss a single class, pay attention, take loads of notes, ask questions until you fully understand everything. do NOT save the research project to the last three weeks of the semester or you're doomed. tests are hard, so study. she's always willing to spend time to help you understand. show her that you care.

Really nice and funny. Class is really hard, you MUST do your homework. Study hard for the tests. Multiple choice questions at the end are straight from the book. Ask a lot of questions and show that you are trying if you don't get it. I recommend her if you want a challenge and want to learn a lot.
