i took a summer class with him and he is really hard, I paid attention, studied and I passed his class with a B. During the summer he works really fast, and he doesn't slow up. If you show that you care and you want to pass he is willing to help you.

This class was boring. He would just read off of the powerpoints the whole time. The tests were really hard. He would test on specific points that you wouldn't think to study. I would make flash cards and study for each test and then get maybe a C on each one.

Professor Nurse is practical. Hes not afriad to tell you like it is which is one quality I like about him. Hes fairly helpful and expands off of what is written on each poerpoint slide for each lecture. He has a great sense of humor and is also very experienced in the Business field. If your looking for a mentor then he is the person.

He is a nice professor and his class was filled with a lot of cool anecdotes. He is a smart guy with a lot of experience in the business field, but sometimes listening to him explain the power points gets boring. Tests are fair, very book based in my class. Overall good professor for marketing.

Really easy class. Just go to class, take the notes, skim through the book, and you shouldn't have a problem with the class. His tests are multiple choice and they're very straight forward. No trick questions at all. It's also great that he has real world experience with marketing so he really understands it.

Financial Accounting with Prof. Nurse is very difficult. You would be better off taking the course with someone else. Nurse is not good at explaining things that are difficult,he will only tell you to read the book. I did pass the course but it was not easy!

He's not warm & fuzzy, but he's great where it counts: respectful about letting class out on time; gives lots of small assignments and tests; tests are multiple choice with lots of questions, so it's hard to fail. Cares about his students and wants them to succeed. RVCC may not give profs much latitude in class structure, thus all the reading???

This professor has such a terrible personality. As stated before, he gets off making students struggle. I have never been so verbally abused before in my life. He will never admit he makes a mistake, while is very critical about students mistakes. No variety in lectures in class, extremely boring and dry.Grades low. Should be fired asap.

Awful just awful. This professor took a evening of our class time to do his personal social life only to make us come on a Holiday when infact he did not even check to see if the building will be open. Awful just plain awful

Read material from book and website, no personal insight what so ever.. When asked to further explain a paticular point, his response was to read the book, so we all stopped asking questions after that. In regards to rate Nurse in Easiness, would assume to be HARD due to the fact that you pretty much have to figure it out yourself.
