I was nervous to take this class due to the most recent reviews. Fact is: if you care about your work, you really try, and you communicate when youre having trouble, shes amazing. Its A LOT of work, especially for a 200-level, but if you care about the topic and you want to teach, I can think of no class more rewarding than this one.

She is really mean. My friend even wanna gave up her master degree becs of this class. This teacher has too many rules, and u even need to read all articles she suggested in her order. When I have queations, she just said I misunderstood what she said about this part, and I SHOULD go home and recheck it.

I learned so much in this class! Dr. Andrade is passionate about education and she practices all the effective methods that she discusses. She caters to her students' needs; everything that you learn in the course is applicable to you as a teacher and as a student. The work can be overwhelming at times but is definitely worth it.!

I totally regret taking anything with her. Do take her any classes with this woman. She is smart and able but she is totally domineering, will pretend to be approachable but is inconsiderate and a bit of a know-it-all. She is always trying to prove how smart she is but is so close-minded and ungrateful when given assistance.

I have learned so much from taking her class. She was one of the best professors I have had in my college experience. I actually learned a lot from her class and she made me want to be more motivated in my schoolwork. I would recommend taking a class with her, you learn a lot and she is a great teacher. One of the best classes I have ever took.

I repented taking her class. In the future I would take her class ONLY if it is a required course. Although she is smart and knowledgeable, she is pretty dominating as a person and not approachable. She also passes inconsiderate "personal" comments under the guise of "feedback". All she wants to prove is that hers is the right way.

If you take this class seriously and are willing to do the work you will definately get alot out of the class. This professor goes above and beyond in making sure that you understand that learning is a process that is never finished. The workload is tough, but can be done....

Very smart and very dedicated, but doesn't explain aspects of the final project well. Good at asking students questions to make them think, but states a lot of opinions as facts that "we all know" and gets frustrated with dissenters.

She is very smart and you will learn a lot from her. Be prepared to work hard. An assessment portfolio is due at the end of the semester. Her instructions on it can be confusing, but ask her, and she will help you unerstand. Reading responses and portfolio assignments are due for each class.
