TAKE LOTS OF NOTES. If you don't you wont pass. If you put in the time you can pass this class with an A. This was a summer class. In the begin of this class I thought it was a mistake taking his class because he does talk off subject but he was able to provide enough information to study own your own time. He does grade on a curve.

Very good professor, always has a lot of input. highly recommend taking his classes. tests were extremely easy considering they were open book, even though the way he teaches you wont even need them, and gives a study guide before each exam.

Despite others comments, if you care at all about learning, you should do fine in this course. He is super informative. He is a cute older man and teaches this way. He has very interesting side stories and wonderful metaphors. I was the only one who was intrigued or asked questions in this class. Made me think everyone else was brain dead.

This class is sooooo boring. The lectures put me to sleep. Quizes are open book and he does give you a study guide for exams which are not open book but the study guide is not relative to the exam.

Despite the fact that this was an easy A, I wish I had not taken his class. The 1st half of the semester was nothing more than a rehash of GEOG 101. The second half of the semester was everything BUT Cultural Geography. He talked about religion,languages,populations,etc...but not culture. Also, he doesn't believe global warming is man-made...
