So he doesn't babysit the whiners, welcome to adult life. If you are a decent student, Mr. Mooney is a great teacher. He does ask you to do hard work, but what you learn can be used outside of his one class. More professors should be like that.

Loved every class I had! Believe me, what he teaches you will be of use beyond the classroom in the "real world." We all need to consider the pursuit of "the true, the good and the beautiful." And I promise I'll read Moby Dick someday!

If you are able to endure looking at a Sloth (from the Goonies) look alike for an entire class and you are an idiot (English majors excluded) I recommend you take this course. Otherwise stear clear...the man treats you like an idiot and your writting skills will decrease.

Don't buy the bad reviews. Mr. Mooney was one of the best professors I had at Immaculata. He is funny and very knowledgeable about many subjects, not just literature. But a warning: dont't EVER get him started on Moby-Dick!!!

He's a wonderful character. He goes to great lengths to explain stories. He never stops talking. Ever. Be prepared to listen to his voice for 1 hour and 15 minutes. His tangents are fun, though.
