Comment:

Professor Woods covers the material over Accounting in different ways you can understand. The course was online she gives you answers to the homework problems but you have to practice Accounting or you won't do well on the Midterm or Final. Take 3-6 hours out the week to practice Accounting and you'll at least make a B.

Generally helpful, responded quickly to emails. Course was online, easy but tedious. Required book + online service. She gave answers to the homework qs, but you will fail the tests if you don't actually do them! Weekly deadlines. Would expect you to spend 3-5 hours a week doing the work

I loved Mrs. Woods. She is strick on her turn in policy and makeup exams but she will go out of her way to help. Her exams come directly from the material she has taught in class. She gives you the material in 4 different ways to make sure you understand. She spends time reviewing before exams. She teaches the way she would like to be taught.

She knows her stuff, sometimes seems a little irritated when u ask questions, just ignore it & ask anyway. She gives lots of oppurtunity for extra credit. Do the reading (and there is a lot of it) and homework, u will do great.. I would take her again. She has a way of breaking the material down in such a way that it is understandable.

Had her for both ACCT 2101(classroom) & 2102(online). Although I liked her as a prof, I found the class itself to be boring. I felt like she was teaching to a class of youngsters. But not everyone finds acct as easy as I do either. I enjoyed the online class much better.

I loved Ms. Woods! She is an excellent teacher and I recommend that everyone take her at least for Cost Accounting. She goes over the material in depth and really help to understand. Take advantage of the companion site with the book helps with the tests. She gives tons of extra credit so don't slack on that it can be a HUGE help!

This is an easy class. should of had an A but ended up with an 89 and she wouldn't change it. she's kindof ditzy. Exams were from homework and had to read chapter. Didn't realize attendence wasn't mandatory until on the day of final class was completely full. Not a complete waste of time. Easy to slack off bc she's so laid back becareful with that.

If you cant ground yourself and meet deadlines without someone constantly reminding you, DONT take online managerial! Do the weekly discussion posts and cengage. then study our tail off for the 2 exams (midterm/final) using her lecture notes and exam guide. you stll have to work for your grade and she means no excuses if u miss deadlines. good prof

Professor woods has an accountants mind set; its all about the #'s. she will make sure that she reviews all the material before the test but good luck getting her to slow down if you don't understand.I went into the class w/ 4.0 and ended up with a 88.25% w/ no extra cred. didn't miss a day and worked my but off for my grade, but I actually learned

Ms. Woods is the most mind numbing professor I have ever had. She has assigned seating and talks to you as if you are an idiot! If you want to time travel back to the second grade then this class is for you. But if you expect to be taught as if you were a semi-intelligent college student, you will be highly disappointed...

Class was very convenient! If you do the homeowrk and discussions every week and make a 100 you will pass with no problem! You can take the homework quizzes as many times as you like..Test are so easy if you read her lecture noted posted online. She was very nice. I highley recommend this class.

I took her online class, which was necessary because of my work schedule but so distracting as I'm not the most technosavvy person! At the end, I would do it again, Ms. Woods is extremely approachable, and the study guides on Vista are absolute gold for acing the tests.
