I have no idea why there are a few negative comments on this professor. He is honestly one of the best professors I've ever taken. He is super knowledgeable and passionate with this subject and he gives you multiple attempts to do the assignments until you get a hundred, with the exception of the final exam. Interesting math it has.

Comment:

Reason why people do not like taking Intro To Logic with Buechner is either they do not have a good math background, or they take advantage of him. I have to say, he is an amazing professor to take Intro To Logic online because he offers students to take as many chances as they can to make their GPA much better. Very inspiring with his lecture vids

Comment:

I took this class over winter break because I needed more credits and this was the best decision ever! Dr. Buechner gives you multiple attempts to submit all of the assignments and will regrade them for a higher grade without penalizing it for being late. He gives helpful advice and hints when you get problems wrong. Overall, he wants u to do well!

NOT an easy A class. 2 HW's, 6 quizzes, and two exams. You can retake the quizzes as many times until you get a 100, they start off really easy but then get more and more confusing and difficult. You only get one chance for the midterm/final. Midterm easy, final exam was ridiculous. If you email the professor he will give you hints.

DO NOT TAKE Unless you can read and understand the language of Logic!! I thought the class would be easy based on reviews but it is a very difficult course to grasp and understand! The first HW and quiz are very misleading bc everything after that is pretty hard and its almost like coding. Seriously unless you can easily grasp this stuff just AVOID

Took an online Logic Class with him. He explains nothing. It's just a stack of paperwork. His book is confusing and of course he expects you to purchase his own book to line his pockets. He doesn't provide clear directions and gives about 30 assignments for a 21 day winter course. Avoid at all costs.

Took him during the winter, and I think I would only take his class during winter sessions. A lot of work nearly 20 assignments, but he graded 3 of them and the rest was 100%'s. His feedback is not that helpful, but there are answers online, just keep asking him until you get the correct answer. Thought I was gonna get a C but got an A.

The worst class I have taken thus far! I took him based on his reviews and I will tell you his classes are HARD. I took intro to logic and it was more of a coding course- that I was not aware of. Very tough grader. No curve. No lee-way. Quite frankly he was rude in his feedback. Submit the work after he posts the correct answers. You'll get an A.

Intro to logic online was a great course there are eight quizzes and you get multiple attempts and he gives you hints on what you did wrong so you can fix it. ALso, the material taught was actually very interesting so i would say if you get the chance take this class

You get multiple attempts at assignments and you can work at your own pace (and finish early!) He gives you feedback as to what you did wrong so you can re-do it. It is a little difficult to learn outside of the classroom, so the textbook is a must-have. As long as you have the self-discipline to complete work on your own, I recommend this class.

Took Intro to Logic online, they've mentioned the 8 Quizes and 2 homework & you can resubmit till you get it right. But its not like its multiple choice, its all complicated formulas. Its not bad in the beginning but by the end its really really complicated. Not easy at all, even with all the revisions. I definitely didn't want a math class.

You will need the book to understand and complete the assignments. You can work at your own pace, as long as you submit everything before the end of the semester (online class). He allows you to re-do quizzes and assignments multiple times and indicates where you went wrong so you can receive desired grade. Textbook is actually a good read.
