He is an AMAZING lecturer. He teaches like everyone's totally new to the topic when he introduces a new concept which makes everything very clear. He is super willing to give extra help. Holds optional q&a sessions before exams and the final. Fair grader, does give partial credit. Also you really feel that he wants you to succeed.

Dr, Supplee's lectures are very interesting. He explains difficult concepts very well. He even does demonstrations to display how the formulas function. One time he spun on a chair to show us torque. He engages with the class using funny anecdotes and topics outside the area of physics. His tests are pretty straight forward. Great guy!!!!

AMAZING PROFESSOR. I've had him both in lab and in lecture and he's one of the best professors at Drew. He gives a lot of partial credit and his classes are super fun. Definitely take his class.

I had Supplee for Physics 150 and he gave amazing lectures, some really cool demos, and fantastic explanations. He graded fairly and his tests were of consistent medium difficulty. Make sure to attend all lectures, READ THE TEXTBOOK AND DO THE PROBLEMS IN THE TEXTBOOK. Most students enjoyed his class and thought he was great even if they did badly.

Comment:

Supplee is so enthusiastic about physics and it shows in his lectures. He is full of life and hilarious. He makes going to physics class fun. His tests were difficult but there was nothing on it that he did not teach in the lecture. Attendance is not required but I recommend going because the lectures are fun and extremely informative.

Comment:

Professor Suplee was my favorite professor for my first semester at Drew University. Almost every lecture was interesting and he encouraged the students to help with demonstrations. An example of a demonstration would be when he used a student on a rotating disk to show how the conservation of angular momentum worked, very cool class :)

This guy doesn't grade your labs AT ALL during the semester--just once after the semester ends. Might sound nice, but he basically screws you over when it comes to the 2nd semester of lab. Other profs might be harder, but at least you learn how to be a better scientist!

Fantastic professor. Explains the material many different ways so everyone can understand it. As long as you are willing to try, he will do all he can to help you - and he doesn't give up on you if you don't want to devote your life to physics! All-around great professor. He's funny, and dear God is he hot!!!

He's clear in what he teaches, and is very energetic/funky/cool...but you have to teach yourself all the material (I wish I would've known this sooner). Not a hard grader, just not the most thorough of lecturers. Read the book, do the hw (and practice quizzes!) and you'll be more than prepared for exams. He is GREAT for lab.
