she is the excellent faculty! She cares the students to be successful in the class. Her grading policy is usual. She gives us a pile of homework since we must prepare for quizzes/midterms. Quizzes/Midterm are straightforward, not trick or hard question! You guys WONT regret to take her.

I loved Dr Stevenson! Overall, she gave fair grades and was there for us to help us as much as we needed it. The concepts can be difficult and sometimes she did not get them fully across, but she was still super helpful.

Prof. Stevenson is amazing. One of the best math professors I have had at CSUN. She really cares about her students and wants to make them better. Really helpful and will break material down for you so you can understand. Highly recommend for all math classes she teaches.

Professor Stevenson is such a kind person. Although she does not curve any tests, she lets you have 3 points at the end for attendance and switches your HW grade with any exam you did bad on. You get small cheat sheets for 2 tests, it's math so I struggled in this class. She's a good professor & likes for her students to pass. Wish she curved

I am not the best with math, so naturally I struggled a little in the class. However, she is the sweetest teacher ever. Really connects with the students and sometimes even adds humor into the lessons. She is always always always available for help and is not judgemental towards any of the questions that are asked. She's great!

Great professor! Math320 is a pretty difficult class with having to do a lot of proofs but she made it so easy to understand the material since she will describe how to do something in various ways until you get it and if you don't it's because you aren't raising your hand and speaking up. Her final is easier than the quizzes but make sure to study

Well she did tell us that the homework would be harder than any of the exams we did in class. I like her, honestly she is a true instructor. She has passion to teach her students with CLARITY that is extremely scarce at the CSUN math department. Hw is worth a lot so it makes for a difficult class.

Great personality and very entertaining. I felt pretty good in lecture but I sat down to do the homework, it was nearly impossible. I wish she would make up her own hw problems because the book was terrible and our tests/ quizzes are almost NOTHING like the homework. I felt like the hw was a waste of my time especially when I saw the final.

She is a wonderful teacher. Besides for this class, she focuses on remedial math. She brings no ego to the classroom and teaches well. She is always helpful and available in her office hours. If you have to take MATH 320, and she isn't teaching it, WAIT to take it with her. It will give you the foundation you need for MATH 350 and MATH 360.

Dr. Stevenson for president, she is the best. With her passion and integrity for this class made me want to attend this class every time. Now that been said the material covered is extremely difficult to comprehend and need to put in your time and effort to get through the homework, as well as going to office hours. Easy class to fall behind...

She would've received a perfect score if the class wasn't so difficult, but that's not her fault. My only problem was the structure of the course. This is was meant to be an introduction to problem solving techniques in advanced math, but it seemed as though they expected you to know how to do it prior to taking the course.

Stevenson is a really good math 103 professor. With the rumor being that 3/4 student will fail the class, (75% fail rate), for me, I was one of the 25% to walk away passing. I EARNED, not deserved or "shoulda" gotten, but EARNED a B+. Class is hard, but if your there everyday, do the work, not watch her, but do it, youll pass & earn a good grade.
