Nice professor, easy class. A lot of readings but most are interesting and easy reads. Her expectations are not any higher than other professors and her final is easy as long as you prepare beforehand (since she gives you the questions). No reason not to take her, I definitely want to take her again.

Challenging, tough etc.. It's a seven week course, alot of work but definitely worth it in the end. Great teacher, very friendly. Twice a week assignments, alot of reading different material, two papers, final exam, discussion board daily. Definitely would recommend. Be prepared for alot of work.

The best prof. I have had at SHU. she makes it interesting for everyone, whether you are a psych major or just fulfilling a requirement. not a tough class. just hand in assignments on time and odn't miss class and you can't get lower than a B. would def. take her again!!!

contrary to what others have posted about her on this site i really did not enjoy dr. lafontana's class. i think that she expects way too much from her students. she gives the questions to the final to u before hand but they are 12 short answers, and you are not allowed to bring your answers with u. they are VERY hard questions too.

She is by far the best teacher at SHU!! She makes everything so easy to understand and is ALWAYS willing to help her students out with assignments or any questions they may have. She goes out of her way for students. The class does require effort but if you keep up with the work and pay attention in class it's not bad. TAKE HER!! She's so nice!!!

way too much work, do not be fooled that it is half online you will have half as much work, possibly MORE because it is online. one assignment due each week but each one takes about 3 hours to do. takes off point for everything i would NOT recommend her.

Dr. LaFontana is very fair & incredibly helpful. She makes it soo easy to get an A in the class. She couples the lectures with online work so its soo much easier to get through and she is a terrific advisor and not to mention the head of the psych department. Take a class with her and you won't be disappointed!!
