Very unprofessional, doesn't give clear instructions. Once she got phone call that made her upset just before my presentation. She was so rude to me I could barely hold my tears and entire class could see her ridiculous behavior. Fortunately I was able to defend my presentation. If I weren't so shaken up I'd tell her off. She didn't even apologize.

you write three papers over the whole semester and theyre really hard. she will give you low scores on them if she doesnt like you or she desnt agree with your opinion in it. also the final doesnt even count for a grade. she told us that only AFTER we did the final... studied for nothing

Honestly the worst teacher at moraine. If you like a teacher that constantly loses your work, always forgets to grade your papers, forgets to bring in your assignments, assumes things about you, and gives you bad grades on your paper unless your opinion matches her, then she's for you. Only good thing about her is she always let's you out early.

One of the best teachers at MVCC. There is alot of reading and 3 papers, but she makes the class interesting by in-class discussions. Taking Intro to Philosophy with her was a great experience!

I really liked her.got an A.the only thing is she speaks very quiet and CANNOT HEAR ANTHING YOU SAY. sometimes i felt like i was repeating myself over and over like a broken record.this made debate very hard when you have to scream across the room. I feel like she needs a hearing aid and a microphone..

She was amazing. She enjoys hearing the opinions of others so thats what got me a good grade. She taught me one simple thin I will always remember "If it's not your fault, then who's is it?" One of the greatest teachers at Moraine Valley.

ok so if you do the very long readings, you might be ok, but then just be carefull, although there is only 3 papers due, they are hard!!!! she likes you if you talk, if you dont then your just there, shes really cool, and has alot of great funny stories to tell, get on her good side you will be ok.

She is a good teacher because she knows her stuff & doesn't assign a lot of work. If U talk 2 her in class about the readings, she likes U. If your quiet, she doesn't know U exist. She does take attendance, so it's beneficial 2 be there. U get out early EVERY time!

There is no doubt Follenweider is the worst teacher I've had at MVCC. The reading is incredibly boring, her assignments are wordy and unclear, and she forces her ideology on others. The class’s only redeeming quality was the minimal workload. I would avoid this class if possible.

The only thing i didn't like about this class was when she would call on you to ask you for your opinion, then philosophize about it and put all the attention on you. Good teacher though. Her papers are kind of difficult, i never knew what she wanted but managed to get A's on all of them.

A classical example of a professor who has aged to perfection in her field of study (philosophy). It would be an honor if I could sit in on one of her lectures once again. I was pleasantly surprised that such wisdom and inlightment was attainable at MVCC. There is yet to be a professor who impacted me like Dr. Follenweider.

I had her for philosophy a few semesters ago.I can assure you that the women knows what shes talken about. She is also very smart.. and she can also tell if ur smart or just a loser. Her clases go by so fast since she debates about one thing for the whole class. Very fun and interesting teacher.

She's a marvel. Loved her! Her arguments are fun and boy does she pick on a point if she wants to.... She's witty, sharp and (believe it or not) very warm hearted.
