Comment:

Quizzes are long and difficult, but are excellent study guides for the tests. The projects are also hard. She didnt respond to a single email I sent all semester, but shes very kind and helpful in class and if you manage to catch her during office hours.

Really good Professor !!! She cares and it shows. Go see her in person as she is busy and emails sometimes aren't the priority but those who come to her office are. Ask questions she will answer all of you questions. Quiz's give you good feedback for the tests. She will help you if you are stuck on an issue on a project. A very Good choice!!!!

Awful teacher. She is very knowledgeable about computing but as a teacher, she could do a whole lot better. Very nice person but her tests are impossible to study for and her projects involve things that she does not go over. 1/10 would recommend. p.s. don't expect a returned email or your grade back until a month later

Compared to other cs profs, she's ok I guess. Really slow at grading and responding to emails, so it may take a while to get feedback on anything.

Droning voice for lectures. Very unclear on assignments and then docks lots of points for things that weren't specified. She is intelligent and knowledgeable, but she is not good at teaching.

Dr. Price is one of the best professors I have had. For computer science, she is by far the best instructor. Her class will require hard work but she certainly prepares you for the real world!

I loved having Kellie Price as a teacher. I liked her so much that I made sure that next semester I had her again for a different class. She's always willing to help you, and she's pretty quick with emails, too.

Dr. Price is incredibly nice and willing to help you, but she wants you to code her way and her way alone. She'll take tons of points off for one small component. You'll need the book, and you'll definitely need to go through it and practice outside of class.

Dr. Price is an amazing teacher. She is more than willing to help but does a good job not slowing class down for people who clearly just don't do anything once they leave class. If you do your work in her class and ask questions AFTER trying to come up with a solution you will do well.

Gives vague instructions and docks points when you don't do what she intended for you to do. If you don't write your code her way, she docks points. Even though she, like all professors, say everyone's coding practices are unique. If you dont do it her way, you wont do well in this class. Which is frustrating because others teach by the book.

Can't say enough about her teaching skills. She was often unorganized and late to return grades, but as far as teaching the material, she just has a way of explaining everything very clearly that more than made up for any shortcomings. Learning from her was easy. You can tell she is a very busy and goes out of her way to help students.
