although she clearly knows what she is talking about she is not clear when teaching. She acts as if you are stupid if you ask questions in class. The one good thing I have to say is that she is much nicer outside of class and gladly gives you help if you ask for it (only outside of class)

She's horrible. She talks as if she's unsure of what she's about to say. She tells you, "TRUST ME...I WILL LEAD YOU THERE." She takes a VERY long time to get to her point. Her labs do not relate to what you're learning from the textbook. Class isn't mandatory, but she WILL yell at you and say you're a bad role model if you don't go. AVOID HER!!!!!!

She is difficult but you will learn a lot. She was very enthusiastic about biochemistry. Initially she is intimidating but once you ask her for help she will do everything to help you succeed. I would recommend her to anyone but be prepared to work hard.

Dr. Specht is one of the best professors I've had. Some students find her intimidating, but she's actually very nice, especially if you see her out of class. She knows how to write questions that require you to think and apply what you know, as opposed to what you've memorized.
