Comment:

This prof was clearly not interested in teaching the students. He clearly had trouble with the most basic arithmetic and always had mistakes on practice problems. He had trouble explaining the concepts clearly and concisely. I think hes just waiting for his pension to kick in. Do urself a favor a take someone else.

It's his first time teaching College Algebra and the practice problems he assigns are the base of the problem but the tests are made extremely tough. He will try his best to create a problem you've never seen or done before n put it on the test. Office hours are 1 hour before the tests. Not a good teacher in my opinion. EC is worth nothing at most.

review chapter before class, for real though, it will make some sense in lecture. HW time consuming but easy. ask questions for things you don't understand tests similar to HW qs. T/F, proofs, keep a neat homework schedule and you will be fine, fairly easy if you don't fall behind. Great Prof! laugh at his jokes please, they're kind of funny.

He is amazing, he breaks down absolutely everything and is very open to questions. His tests were extremely tough so I didn't appreciate him throughout the semester until basically the end. Listen in class because he will point out little things here and there that will eventually just click. Take him if you want a good foundation in geometry

Mr Beirich is an incredibly kind, patient teacher who clearly enjoys teaching. I don't love math, but look forward to coming to this class because he creates a space in which it is easy and non-stressful to try, and to learn. I actually leave his class wanting to emulate his behavior. He is so kind and without pretense. Just an exemplary human.

He's a really nice person and is very thorough in breaking down the whys of basic geometry. However, his method of teaching does not lend itself well to note taking. I found it more effective to just listen to his lectures, then review the week's lessons before tackling the homework.

This professor knows his math and will do his best to help you out. If you get a 89.9% in the class he will not bump you up to that .1% Geometry is the most hated subject in math, but he does his best to make things clear. If I had him for a different subject in math, I'll probably like this guy a lot more. Its a damn new requirment for PCC

Prof. Beirich is the best Math 125 teacher! I never thought I will learn and love Math since I'm not good at it.Prof. Beirich made it easy for students who are having a hard time understanding the concept of math. He is very patient with his teaching. A lot of homework but it will help in the process. Take him for Math 125. Thank you Mr. Beirich

Excellent teacher! Math is not my subject or major, but he was able to cram it down my throat and make me understand it. He has extreme patience and has no problem repeating himself over and over till you get it. Dont be afraid to participate, you are missing out if you don't. Take him if you suck at math, he has a great grading system, very fair.

He is by far the BEST math professor that i have taken at PCC,Math really is not my subject at all,but this teacher really works with you to figure it out,he is very clear and if you dont get it he will go thru the whole problem to figure out where you made mistake,I HIGHLY recommend this teacher,i passed his class with a B+ and am horrible at math

This man KNOWS his math. He seems to love math which makes him a great teacher. I've never done proofs before & he was able to teach me how to visualize math in my head & see the many ways a proof can be done. His class made me use my mind in ways I never imagined. U must go to class & pay attention of course. Geometry is hard & he makes it easier.

He is a very good and caring instructor. The only gripe I have with him is that he makes the tests too easy. He tells you how to solve the proofs right on the tests. Personality-wise, he is very nice and approachable.

This is a very good instructor. He is fun, and thorough. You will know the subject if you do your homework. His tests seemed easy if you do you homework. His point system is clear so you know where you stand in the class. I knew before the final exactly how well I had to do in order to get an A or B
