Larry is a pretty smart man. Knows his stuff like back of his hand. He makes the lecture topics interesting and going to class isn't a pain because it's interesting material. He does not tolerate cell phones which come on should be that hard to not look at your phone during class I agree with him. Tests are decent but need to study.

AMAZING professor. He is extremely knowledgable and experienced. He will be able to answer all of your questions. DONT miss class, because you're accountable for every word he says. If you take notes, you'll pass. If you love psychology TAKE THIS CLASS. And even if you don't, this class is so interesting and will have you interested all semester.

Loved this class!! If you don't like to take notes I recommend you DO NOT take this class. His grades are based on 3 tests and they are based on your note taking for each lecture. Besides that he is a funny and very interesting professor. If you love psychology take this class!

Not the easiest psych class but i learned a lot from Prof. Salpeter. The stories and jokes he told are all so memorable and entertaining, it made the class worth taking. He curves the tests and assigns a 5 page essay. Oh and do NOT text in his class

I am in LOVE with Larry! Honestly, the best professor I have ever had. I took him for two classes during my stay at NCC because I just couldn't leave that man alone. He is so hysterical and class barely seems to last an hour. His real life experiences enhance everything you learn, and I haven't met anyone as dedicated or as happy with their job! <3

Prof. Salpeter is such an interesting and fun professor. He has great stories, a good sense of humor, and speaks clearly. He lectures in a way that makes notetaking easy. Don't bother buying the textbook. His lectures and some printed articles he gives you will make up the tests. 3 tests are M/C and CURVED! Fun and easy class!

Professor Salpeter is the BEST professor I've ever had! He's very knowledgeable and uses personal accounts as his examples (which will keep you glued to your seat!). He's also cynically funny and very nice. His tests are based on the notes and packets so write everything! Textbook- not so much. I would most definitely recommend him!

Prof. Salpeter is the best professor I've had. He is extremely organized so you wind up learning a ton in his class. He is very knowledgeable and has a lot to offer. Don't take the class if you're not willing to study and take copius notes, you will not do well. Also, he's *really* serious about his cell phone policy, so dont text.

Took General Psychology with him. Possibly one of the greatest professor's I've ever had. He doesn't give out any homework. But the most important part of the class is that you HAVE TO LISTEN TO HIS LECTURES and TAKE NOTES. His lectures are very interesting and he talks about his past experiences with his clients. Everything relates in the end!

Amazing. If you're at all able to take him, do it. He'll make class enjoyable - however if you get annoyed easily you may not like it - he plays into people lacking common sense and it's really irritating.

Great Professor. I took his abnormal psych class, his stories are not only interesting but also relate to everyday life where everyone can somehow associate and relate with the scenarios. Learned alot from this course. Prof salpeter changed my life and perception in a positive way.

Wonderful professor. I took abnormal psych with him, and he is so knowledgeable in his field of work. I truly learned a lot from taking his course. The only criticism is that he believes in the psychoanalytic model, so if you disagree with his views, you may not enjoy the course.

Great teacher! Makes class fun with his stories. You MUST attend his class though. His tests are taken from all of his lectures, and if you aren't in the lecture, make sure that you get the notes. Hopefully he'll be back soon b/c he unfortunately had to leave the class mid-semester due to an illness.
