Honestly McClurg is a great professor. She doesn't use PP's which in my opinion is a blessing. She keeps you focused by writing exactly what you need to learn on the board. Her test are a 3rd book a 3rd notes and a 3rd in class activities. She is clear with what she expects of her students. Attendance isnt manditory but go it helps on tests.

I love Dr.McClurg! She knows HR & loves teaching it! Extremely helpful! Tests aren't hard if you go to class, take good notes, and read the book. Would recommend her for anyone especially if you want an HR career!

One of the best Professor's at GSU. She alwys kept the class interesting. I loved her teaching method. She is what teaching is all about. She didn't need or used powerpoint slides. I would highly recommend her to other students.

This woman is by far the best professor I've had a GSU! She is absolutely hysterical and knows how to teach effectively. I had no interest in Compensation before taking this class but she knows how to capture your attention. I don't know how GSU got her but they better keep her! I highly recommend her!

The one person that said she is not a good teacher must be an alien... Dr. McClurg is hands down the best teacher I have ever had in my life! It has nothing to do with easy, she is a really good teacher and you learn from her! Take her class! Georgia State is very lucky to have her!

AMAZING teacher. Take her and you won't regret it. Lots of in class activities so you LEARN how to do this stuff. I left this class saying I can really use this stuff in my future job!! I also took her for Into to HR. GREAT Teacher that cares. Very fair tests and grades fairly as well. TAKE HER TAKE HER TAKE HER!

Dr. McClurg is truly one of the best professors at Georgia State. I had no interest in HR, but she made me understand it and respect the industry. Georgia State doesn't deserve this wonderful lady. Seriously. Her tests are valid and fair. No groups!!! Yay! A few homework assignments from a $2.00 book. I would love to take her again!!

Dr. McClurg was one of my all-time most favorite teachers. Anyone who is fortunate enough to get into one of her classes has had a goood day indeed! Her classes usually close out in less than 30 minutes on registration day (this speaks to her popularity). She LOVES teaching and goes out of her way to help students. Rating? I call her St. Lucy!

Loved her! She is a great teacher. Throughly explains the material. Tests are not difficult and if you take notes in class, you will be fine. One paper, but not bad at all. In class activities add up to lots of points. Go to class.

She is the worst teacher ever. Her tests are really hard, and she has no form of powerpoints or study guide that can help you if you miss a class period. Also, her notes dont even make sense and nor does the book. This is a human resource selction, why are we learning statistics? Anyways avoid her at all costs unless you want a C. She is awful.

She is GREAT!! Tests are easy, she asks the class what format they want. There are in-class activities and she takes role so you must go to class. There is a textbook but you can use an old version plus you dont really need it anyway. She tests from inclass stuff ONLY. I got a 96 on the first test and never looked at the book.
