Baloche wrote the textbook so you need to actually read it. She has the most useful information of any of my classes of my 4 years at WCU. GET ON HER GOOD SIDE! Ask/answer questions. Participate. She'll like you, and you'll do fine.

this class was actually an amazing class. I learned so much about how to group my students and ways to create opportunities for group work in my classroom. If you are serious about being a teacher and not an easy A then this is the class for you. I am kind of sad she got such a low rating

Avoid her if you can. If you have to take her you will survive. She repeats herself again and again and again just so you don't get out earlier from the 3 hour class. She treats you like your a little kid and makes you move into a million different groups per class. Also, the midterm and final are tricky. The case study is ridiculously complicated

She is actually a sweet lady. She knows her students, even with a class of 60, so if you don't do your work, are a cheater, or a slacker, yeah, she will not be nice. Do what you have to do and she will treat you like gold.She teaches you to be thoughtful of your students, and she always has a perfect story she reads to go with her lesson.

I took her years ago for creativity class. Unfortunately, she didn't like me and gave me an A- in the class even though I deserved better. Every person in my "group" was shocked that she shafted me when my work was clearly superior to theirs. I just didn't buy into her corniness and it cost me. My Advice: for a fair grade take someone else.

Complete space cadet. Be prepared to dance around play with your inner self on a daily basis. The class was not difficult but was hands down one of the most annoying classes I've taken in my entire academic career. Never in her rambling, incoherent lessons was she anywhere close to anything that can be considered a rational thought.

This was the worst professor I have had in my college career. She was discouraging, negative and very critical of your work. She was not a postive role model for a teacher. The case study at the end is ridiculous, we didn't even learn about ESL students but yet had to write a huge case study on it. I advise you not to take this teacher.

Dr. Baloche has plenty of enthusiasm. The class is engaging, as she is prepared for her daily excercises. You will find yourself doing a fair amount of reading and writing, and towards the end it will seem like much; however, when the course is completed you will feel better educated and satisfied with what you have accomplished.

Dr. Baloche is a wonderful teacher. She is full of creative ideas on how to group students and make everyone in a class feel included. She not only teaches the class she models by setting her class up in the ways she would for elemetary students.
