She is not a strong teacher. I did not learn very much in her class. She disrespects graduate students. If you are looking into graduate school, avoid applying to this professor.

Get ready for a hand cramp! Lynn is a great prof cause she knows her stuff, is clear, and organized but she doesn't post notes on UR courses or Web CT and will fly through the slides in class. There was so much material in this class, 19 chapters on the final and all comprehensive. Expectations for a 200 level class were a bit high.

ALOT OF MATERIAL and the final is culmative which doesn't really help..the tests arent hard just too much to know and she doesn't explain the tests/assigments that well..

She explained things well, but her tests were very hard. There is A LOT of material to cover in the class (no matter who teaches it). Her final was comprehensive, which made it very difficult considering the amount of information you learn in the calss.

Her class is very interesting. She has funny examples and encourages class participation. She has a down-to-earth approach. She's not a proff that acts like she knows all the answers - a breath of fresh air. I would recommend her. Didn't give any assignments, just exams.

She is a very hard marker. Her tests are really hard. Be prepared to read the whole 19 chapters of the text she finishes a chapter in 2 days.

She is a hard marker, but if you ask her what she wants you will see an improvement in your mark. I would take another class from her, there were no surprises.

Too many notes. I trippled the amount of my notes from any other 300 level course. Tests are not overly hard, but they are long and not enough time is given to complete them. Difficult marker. She seems nice and knows a lot, but needs more experience.

She is a great person. Very interested in what she does. Tries to make class exciting. Her exams are fair. Just figure out what she wants and your fine. Be prepared to have a sore hand. Lots and lots of notes goes through really really fast.

If you go to class her tests aren't too bad. For essays though watch out she is a tough marker. We did cover lots of information in a short time but a lot of it was common sense so it wasn't that hard. I'd take another class from her.

Lots of work, lots of material to cover in a short time. Poor teaching style (only uses powerpoint slides) but possesses a great deal of knowledge. Tough exams and tough marker - Beware!
