I took stats online and it was a fairly easy course. Mystatslab for weekly homework sections and the exams. The grade was based on homework sections, four exams, and one final exam. It's easy if you read the textbook and make sure to not wait until the last minute to complete your assignments. She may offer extra credit *hint hint.

She is an amazing professor!!! Another college I attended wanted to have me tested for a learning disability in math...I took algebra with her after years of being out of school and passed her class with a B+! I've taken every math possible with her. If you need any math classes TAKE HER CLASSES!!! You will not regret it!

After not attending school and very little math training in highschool this teacher made me feel comfortable. she is extremely nice and very patient, very helpful. I loved taking her class and will continue taking her for my next 2 math requirement classes.

I am not a math student at all. It is very difficult for me to swallow, however, Mrs. Alvarez is AMAZING MATH TEACHER. She should publish a math textbook for dummies. Hope NSU is compensating her well. She was better at explaining then the textbook. Extremely, helpful!! Made me feel smarter in math.

She is hands down the best Professor I have had thus far. I had he for both Stats I and II and while the class materail was very difficult she explained it in a way and with such patience that if you applied yourself and did the work you will definitely pass the class. I highy recommend her for Statistics.

It is refreshing to see a professor explain a very difficult subject with patience and clarity. Nova is lucky to have her on staff. Her empathy towards the students was clear. She is very organized, sweet, and very helpful. It's nice to see a young, female, hispanic statistics teacher who gets to the point.
