More reading and writing than I wanted to do, but a really nice professor and good class considering it was something were all forced to take anyways. He obviously knows what hes talking about and hes really cool as long as you do your reading and dont show up an hour late. Im already taking another class with him in the spring.

Mark is a great teacher, if you give a crap about his class and participate you'll be fine. It's a challenging class but totally worth it he's fun and lets you express your opinion. If you don't write in english that well, try taking a class to fix that first cause it's writing and literature, he expects you to be able to write haha !

He seems a pretty good teacher to me; quite laid back and not too stressful. Sometimes the class tends to get blah but other times it's fine. The tests and exams are pretty easy, open-book most of the time. Books we read are good, some read from high school. He's worth it.

Yeah, he's got some character and a sense of humor, but as far as teaching,.... nu uh! Three hours of lecturing!?! ..not for me. The class made me feel more like i was in highschool! He arrived late to class, never challenged us and overall had a layed-back attitude. I was never motivated!

Curly is the man. He teaches the way it should be. You get enough content and learn a lot but it's an stress free cool way. The class is more like half conversation half lecture and not just memorize this for the exam.
