Comment:

Dr. Masaki is one of my favs! He is a very sarcastic guy and quite the comedian. I had him for stats and he was tough; he expects you know the material and know it well. He is very good at conveying the material in clear terms and will explain it until you understand, if you take the class seriously.

This class was fun and easy. All you have to do to get good grades is write down the examples he gives in class on the outline notes. All of the people that did bad in my class just wrote definitions there. Learn from the examples he gives and it is an easy A.

This man was impossible to learn from...his tests were extremely difficult and no amount of studying or reading from the book would help. I loved psychology until I took his class and I think he actually likes to see his students fail. Avoid taking him at whatever costs!!

Mr. Masaki is very nice as a person, but i think he likes to fail his students. The highest grade in my class on the first test was an 80%. i studied attended every class and read all the chapters and i still got a 67% on the test. He uses words like "more funner" which is very distracting considering i am paying $$$ to attend

He is actually very entertaining. He laughs at his own jokes. If you are able to take notes and remeber what you write, you will be ok. I never used the book but most of what was on the test was from my notes. He is a nice guy but definitely not easy!

Went to class every day and still failed! Hard as hell when it comes to test! He is willing to help outside of class! His stories are entertaining....but he failed my a**!

His classes are REALLY F****** HARD! But nonetheless he is helpful outside of class. He is willing to help you if you are willing to go see him outside of class. He also gives a A LOT of X-TRA CREDIT, so you shouldn't fail! Hard Class, Helpful Teacher...hey this what all YSU courses should be like.

I know he's a hard ass professor. However, I have gotten the highest grade on the last two tests. All you need to do is study and communicate with the guy. This college people it's not supposed to be a breeze. If we just had more professors like Masaki then YSU graduates would be the cream of the crop when it comes to employment.

By far, the greatest professor of all time. His teaching style stimulated fascinating discussion about the theoretical underpinnings of psychology. His unrelenting willingness and availability to assist students regarding both school material and general aspects of life in and out of class is unparalled by any professor at YSU.

Mark Masaki is simply a **** when it comes down to it. He should not be teaching a general psych class. Keep in mind that GENERAL is not HONORS or ADVANCED or something along those lines. I missed 2 classes out of the whole semister, studied, and still failed his class. Miserable old man needs to retire finally.
