Comment:

Amazing teacher. People who are in this class just want things to be easy and are not use to the rigorous work that the sciences require. She made this class so easy. Students spent more time complaining then actually using lab time for studying and asking questions. She always helped students that asked. People are lazy and want a free A. Love her

Dr Brown is a nice lady and has a kind heart . I dont like her style of teaching though. She likes to ramble and goes over power points too fast. Her test can be confusing as well.

Do not take this class ! She rambles , you will basically teach yourself the concepts 24/7. We barely had any labs the whole semester. She does highlight the stuff you need to know in lecture but she lectures for lab AND lecture. Just save yourself time and take Anatomy with a different professor !

Comment:

Dr. Brown was an amazing teacher. She highlighted everything we needed to know for the lecture exams, and did general review for our lab exams to hit major ideas that could be on the practical exams. She literally tells you what will be on the exams, it's up to the student to learn or memorize the material. In this case a poor grade no effort

Comment:

She goes off on tangents, we all had to learn on our own time which would be fine for a easier class but not for Human Anatomy. Professor Ali stepped in for her one day and the entire class learned more than any other day. The lecture exams are outrageously hard, and she gets mad when the class doesn't know the answer to a question shes asking.

Mary is kind and lighthearted. She gets off topic a lot and I felt like I had to teach myself a lot outside of class. Her power-points are kind of hard to follow but she does provide notes that you can print off and those are very helpful. She keeps class interesting and fun and she does try her best to get you to succeed.

Its a long class but shes so funny. Her dry sense of humor is hilarious:) she helped me get through the class for sure cause I struggle big time this semester! :) would recommend Dr. Brown for sure even though I wouldnt take the class cause its hard! But shes made it fun and easier for me!

Mary is overall a good teacher. You do not need the textbook just the lab manual. We almost never had lab or lecture quiz's even though we are supposed to. She gives out occasional extra credit. Ask questions if you have any because she is not the best at explaining things. For the practicals I would recommend using Quizlet to help you study.

Mary is straight forward. She only teaches the material necessary. Quizzes are from lab activities done in groups so attendance is important to get these points. As long as you do the work and study you will do well. She has a great sense of humor and I really liked her teaching style. I feel I learned what I needed to.

This professor has a tendency to get off topic incredibly easy. She is a very nice and funny person, but scatter brained is saying it nicely. Be prepared to teach yourself a lot on your own time, lecture heavy with little hands on learning.

Very disorganized. Will waste your time, for sure, with odd musings and unrelated tangents. Makes it very clear how little she knows. Often behind on material. Uses the lab time to make up lecture time. Doesn't give the "big picture," so you will have to teach yourself the material. On the upside, the exams are pretty easy if you use study guide

Comment:

Dr. Brown is a great professor. Anatomy is a very challenging course be she makes it enjoyable and understandable . This was my second time around taking Anatomy and with Dr. Brown as a professor I passed with a B! Make sure to keep up with notes provided. The greatest tool to passing this course is REVIEWING and using online lab tutorials.

She is funny, energetic, and really gets the students engaged in the class. The notes seem hard to keep up with at first but it's basically an outline of the lecture shes giving and it goes in order, you just have to follow along. She cares about her students and wants them to succeed so if you go to her with quesitons she is always willing to help

The best instructor I ever had, she makes learning easy because she makes sure you know the most important things. she focuses what you need know for real life and exam which makes grading easy. I got A in her class of Anatomy and you can also get that as long as you strive for it.

Mrs. Brown is awesome!! She is the best biology teacher I've ever had. She really wants you to succeed so she does all she can do to help you. She is also very nice and though the lectures are boring she makes it fun. This class is fairly difficult so make sure you don't miss days or you will be behind. Be on track with HW and study for your tests.

Great professor. Actually enjoyed this class. But no matter what teacher you have it is a stressful class. Lots of material to learn. I wouldn't recommend taking with 3 or 4 other classes. Too much.

The most amazing teacher you'll ever have!! Super funny and is always there to help. takes the time to meet with you and explain stuff. She is pretty straight forward on what she wants you to know.

Dr. Brown is great. She's extremely energetic, she can be hard to keep up with. But she really knows what she's doing. I would definitely recommend her. Anatomy is pretty horrible so having a good instructor makes a big difference.
