Shes really nice in person and says things like dont be afraid to ask questions and I dont expect you to know everything about psychology in person. But in emails she speaks down to everyone and Im left mad after reading her emails. Shes also a really tough grader when it comes to the term paper. But make sure you read on your own and study.

I LOVED her! She's absolutely my favorite, I would of gotten an A if I hadn't slacked off in the final paper but I absolutely loved her class. The stories she tells and they way she gives her lectures are great!

Ms. Weston is a sweet person, but her lectures don't really teach any of the information. She gives good feedback on written assignments but doesn't show how to do them and many of the exam questions have nothing to do with what we went over in class.

Comment:

She is so nice, one of the best teachers I've had. Her class is difficult only because of the research paper we do throughout the semester which is in APA if you get a red book that she recommends it'll help. She does grade hard, she will give you a 0 if you make a mistake but she will also change it once you correct it. She also gives good advice.

I loved what I learn throughout this class but the biggest thing that was graded was not psychology but the way you do APA style and explain yourself throughout your research paper. I would visit her class every week just because she gave me a zero rather then taking off points for mistakes. After mistakes were fixed, she would still keep it as a 0

Her lectures are a waste of time. She spends 97% of the class talking about her life and what she does go over is never on the tests. The biggest grade in that class is a paper you do through the semester and she doesn't bother to teach how to do it. Not to mention she is passive aggressive & rude.

I dropped this class after four weeks even though this was a required class for my program. She acts so entitled, and wastes the whole class time talking about her life story. she repeats herself because she couldn't even remember what she had already told us from the prior class. Dosent give second chances. if u don't already know APA dont take.

Her class was a real challenge because writing transitioning from MLA to APA style is difficult. However, she gives great feedback when needed and will help her students out if they go to her during office hours and ask for help. Her exams ARE challenging as well, but doing the exercises online will increase your understanding of the subjects.

took her last semester... honestly worst class ever. she is very unorganized with her stuff, expects us to buy so many books, and codes. 2 weeks into school and half the class didnt have any idea what was going on. half the class drooped her, and talks too much a bout politics.

She may seem intimidating but she is a sweet genuine lady. Participate in class, she gives cool stories during class. Visit her during her office hours. I honestly thought I was going to fail the class because of my grades but I ended up receiving a 100 because I attended all the SI sessions and did all the extra credit.

sideshow class, don't need the book other than for the 'extra' online homework code, test are long and ask questions that she didn't even bother to go over, Apa style papers will be grade to her liking doesn't matter if its correct according to the book, and she is feminist that will lie about being okay to joke around with. find a better proff.

Such an amazing woman! Her class is very tough and it seems like you're always wondering if you can handle it or not, but the key is going and talking to her. Never ignore her comments about coming to her office to go over a grade. She means well and is truly there to help her students reach their goals. Study for test! Don't cram, just review.

Very difficult course, yet not impossible to pass. Ms. Weston is VERY clear about her expectations for her students and will definitely make you work for your grade. Tough, but very approachable. Don't be afraid to talk to her about your grades, she's almost always open to help you out, unless you've really screwed yourself over.
